2 Major Player Exits GC Amidst Interesting Returns
This week, The Young and the Restless is once again going through a major casting shuffle.
It means some of our favorite characters are waving goodbye to Genoa City.
Meanwhile, some familiar faces are returning to spice up the storyline.
Watch till the end to find out who’s leaving and who’s coming to Y&R this week.
Hey everyone, welcome to Trend Street!
With the end of Martin’s psychotic storyline, we are facing not one, not two, but three exits from the soap.
At number one is obviously Christopher Cousins.
The actor made his debut last year in April as Alan Laurent, the wise Laurent brother who was a psychiatrist and friend of Ashley.
After Alan’s death, his twin brother Martin had been posing as him and even began flirting with Traci.
The two would have been married by now if it weren’t for his dangerous experiment on Phyllis and Sharon.
Martin was finally arrested—courtesy of Traci, Sharon, Phyllis, Nick, and Chance.
As Martin’s chapter closes for good, veteran soap star Christopher bid goodbye to Y&R earlier this month.
Fast forward to the week of April 21st—both the Abbott sisters have headed off the canvas after facing major heartbreak.
Once again, Traci decided to move to New York.
Along with Traci, Ashley left for New York too.
So far, there have been no words on when they will return, but as usual, it’s only a matter of time before they come back for another storyline.
Moving on, Cait Fairbanks makes another appearance as Tessa on Tuesday, April 22nd.
She will be sharing scenes with Daniel, played by Michael Graziadei, who seems to have become a good friend to her after their recent ordeals.
Heather’s murder and Phyllis’s kidnapping seem to have taken a toll on Daniel,
but with Tessa’s support, he has started enjoying life again.
This week, Daniel asks Tessa a favor to help him through “this one thing”—
which, of course, Tessa won’t say no to.
Now here’s a question:
Do you think their friendship is turning romantic?
Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
Meanwhile, let’s move on to our second return—
who is none other than Valarie Pettiford.
She is back as Amy Lewis on Wednesday, April 23rd,
and this week she gets an important update on her medical condition from her doctor.
Lastly, after being MIA for weeks, J. Eddie Peck is back again!
His character, Cole Howard—the unofficial Newman family member—has his first air date on Thursday, April 24th.
It’s a no-brainer he will be sharing scenes with Amelia Heinle’s Victoria and Hayley Erin’s Claire.
