On Monday’s episode of PMBB, Brooke walks into the design office, probably expecting to chat about some fabric choices or maybe have a look at a new collection. Instead, what she finds leaves her absolutely stunned. She steps into a private moment between Carter and Hope, and it’s far from innocent. Carter is shirtless, Hope is half-dressed, and the scene is crystal clear—these two were seconds away from something they definitely were not supposed to be doing in the workplace.

Now, Brooke might not be the best person to tell them it’s wrong—it’s not like she herself ever followed all the rules. But she is definitely shocked.

This is Brooke we’re talking about, so you know she’s going to have a lot to say about what she just saw. She’s reeling from the shock but also frustrated that her daughter is putting herself in this position again. Hope’s history with complicated relationships is less than fascinating, and now here she is, getting tangled up in another situation that’s sure to cause problems.

Of course, Hope tries to explain. She might admit that what just happened was new for both of them—this was the first time they were about to take things to a passionate level, but Brooke’s interruption stopped it before it could go too far. And here’s the thing: what if someone else had caught them? Brooke is quick to point out that they’re playing with fire by sneaking around at the office. Imagine if Steffy had been the one to walk through that door! They cannot afford to be this reckless if they want to keep things under wraps.

For now, Carter is about to get a verbal slap from Brooke. She’s not just worried about the possible damage to Hope’s reputation; she’s thinking about Carter’s position at the company. He has been a strong defender of Hope for the Future, standing behind the brand with everything he’s got. But now, if word gets out, it could wreck everything they’ve worked for.

To be honest, all the men Hope has had her eyes on after Liam have been a bundle of messes anyway. So, it’s only natural for Brooke to think Hope is causing chaos again. It’s only a matter of time before the news about Hope and Carter’s romance gets out, and when it does, you can bet it’s going to shake things up in a big way.

Brooke might already be predicting that this relationship is heading for disaster, and honestly, she might not be wrong. There’s just so much at stake.
