Tamara Braun Joins The Young and the Restless as Sienna Bell

Big casting news is shaking up Genoa City!

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that a familiar face from the daytime world is heading to the CBS soap. According to People, two-time Daytime Emmy winner Tamara Braun has officially joined The Young and the Restless in the brand-new role of Sienna Bell.

A Daytime Veteran Arrives in Genoa City

Daytime fans will instantly recognize Braun from her many memorable roles across the soap landscape.

She first made a major impact on General Hospital in 2001 when she stepped into the role of Carly Corinthos, a part she played until 2005. Years later, she returned to Port Charles in a completely different role — Kim Nero, the mother of Oscar Nero and connected to Drew Cain’s emotional storyline.

Braun also appeared on All My Children as Reese Williams and became a fan favorite on Days of Our Lives, where she portrayed Ava Vitali across multiple stints.

Her impressive career has earned her two Daytime Emmy Awards:

• 2009 – Outstanding Supporting Actress

• 2020 – Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role as Kim Nero on General Hospital

What Brings Sienna Bell to Genoa City?

Details about Sienna Bell are still under wraps, but early reports suggest that the character will arrive in Genoa City with personal ties to several key players already on canvas.

Could she share a past connection with:

Many of these characters have links to Los Angeles, raising speculation that Sienna’s history may be intertwined with theirs.

Interestingly, Braun is the second Days of Our Lives alum to join The Young and the Restless in recent months. Earlier this year, Billy Flynn made headlines when he joined the CBS soap as Cane Ashby. Meanwhile, Connor Floyd — formerly of Y&R — recently moved to Salem to take over the role of Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives.
