What Took Place in Salem?

The couple was shocked to walk down the aisle after a wedding week filled with a phony groom and an unaware bride. The Rachels came up with a strategy to keep Ava out of the picture after knocking her unconscious.

When Kristen and Brady arrived, they discovered their daughter cowering under a sheet. After realizing that Kristen’s photo book of Armid was gone and that Rachel might be hiding at the residence, Brady reassured Rachel that he was not ending his relationship with Ava. However, Kristen grounded her right away.

Ultimately, Rachel clutched onto Ava’s phone while the Woman in White had Ava strapped to a chair. Meanwhile, Sophia questioned Tate about whether they should proceed with the adoption despite her mother’s misgivings.

Holly vented to Doug Three about Tate and Sophia having to raise the child in order to appease Sophia’s mother. Tate proposed giving the child to a Christian couple, hoping it would also help Doug Three pay off his debt to Holly and ideally repurchase Alice’s necklace.

Later, Leo paid Doug Three a visit and offered him a position as his assistant.

Jada’s Bachelorette Party and Rafe’s Bachelor Bash

Beginning with some pregame Jell-O shots, Gabby and Stephanie were in full party-planning mode for Jada’s Bachelorette celebration. Jada and Belle arrived after Paulina and Chanel, and the women drank and partied—while Chanel numbed her feelings for Johnny.

Meanwhile, EJ showed up uninvited at Rafe’s Bachelor celebration, which also included Shawn, Steve, and Johnny. Steve cautioned Rafe against interacting with the DiMeras after learning that he was employed by EJ.

When a police officer arrived and accused Rafe of identity theft, the situation took a turn—until the officer revealed that she was actually a stripper. The stripper was performing a lap dance for Rafe when the girls entered, adding to the chaos.

An inebriated Chanel confronted Johnny and smashed a bottle before storming out of the pub. Shawn pursued her, and after a heated disagreement, their tension erupted into a passionate kiss.

EJ drove a very drunk Belle home, only to later jump into bed with the stripper when he returned to his hotel room. The next morning, Chanel woke up in Shawn’s apartment wearing his T-shirt. When she asked if anything had happened, Shawn reassured her that nothing had.

Later, when Chanel returned home, Johnny was waiting for her. She admitted to kissing Shawn, but Johnny suggested that if she truly wanted to, they could try to keep their marriage intact.

Wedding Day Drama

At the Horton house, Gabby asked JJ to be her wedding date. However, after being summoned to work, he had to decline his initial agreement.

Meanwhile, EJ told Rafe that it was also his wedding day and jokingly gave him a birthday cap and a muffin at the DiMera mansion before making his escape from the underground.

After Rafe tackled EJ and rendered him unconscious, Rafe was captured and taken back to the underground, where EJ texted Arnold.

Steve confided in Kayla about Rafe secretly working for EJ.

At the wedding, Steve walked Jada down the aisle. When Paulina asked if anyone objected, Leo stood up to say something, but Javi quickly interrupted him.

Then, after receiving a mysterious text message, Rafe abruptly announced that he could not marry Jada!

Future Drama: Babies, Betrayals, and Unexpected Alliances

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that although Chanel and Johnny’s future is uncertain, their romance is far from over. Chanel will likely overlook Johnny’s drunken night with Joy Wesley—after all, she recently had her own intoxicated night at Jada Hunter’s Bachelorette party.

Could Chanel and Johnny start planning for their future, including expanding their family?

Meanwhile, Sophia Choy and Tate Black are expecting a child but realize they aren’t ready for parenthood. Sophia’s mother, Amy Choy, intervened before the couple could proceed with their original plan. Amy also rejected Sophia’s suggestion to place the baby for adoption.

However, Sophia recently told Tate that she still wanted to move forward with adoption because she has college plans and will be 18 by the time the baby is born—meaning her mother won’t have a say anymore.

Could Chanel and Johnny be the ones to adopt Sophia and Tate’s baby? If Sophia’s mother believed the child was being raised in a religious home, she might agree. Although Johnny and Chanel aren’t particularly religious, pretending to be could lead to some dramatic and intriguing moments.

The Salem Love Triangle

Right now, there aren’t many likable couples on Days of Our Lives.

• Brady and Ava are just getting started.
• Leo and Javi met only two minutes ago.
• Jada is engaged to an imposter Rafe.
• Holly and Tate are acting like a Romeo and Juliet couple despite their high school romance already failing twice.

However, Marina entering her daughter’s bedroom may have just introduced a new power couple.

Previously, Belle dismissed EJ as her most foolish hookup. Yet, the very next evening, she was back in bed with him!

While Belle’s mother attempted to shame her, Belle stood her ground, insisting she could make her own choices. Marina concluded that Belle should not bring EJ back under her roof, but outside of that, she had no control over her daughter’s behavior.

Should we be rooting for Belle and EJ?

The truth is, they look great together—not just because they’re hot, but because they’re entertaining. They joke around, they have chemistry, and right now, a lot of Salem couples are drowning in angst.

Of course, if more drama is needed, Days of Our Lives can always bring Sami back into the picture!
