Brady is alarmed, and Arnold makes a huge blunder.

Wednesday, February 12th

We’re going to see more fallout from the cancellation of the soap within a soap—but hey, at least it’s dead! Yay!

What I thought was funny was Tuesday’s episode (if you haven’t seen it). When Leo found out he was fired by the network instead of being able to write remotely, he was just traumatized! I wonder if that was actually Ron Carlivati writing an homage to his own exit from Days since he was fired in mid-July 2024. This would have been filmed around the time of his exit—maybe he saw the writing on the wall.

But we still have a couple more months of his scripts. At least the soap is dead.

Meanwhile, Alex and Joy continue chatting. She’s considering relocating to LA to stay on the soap and wants him to go with her. Maybe this is when he does the awkward breakup—because we know he’s not leaving Stephanie.

Tate and Holly have dinner at Brady Pub, and her big plan for Valentine’s Day? To lose her V-card with him.

I hope she’s on birth control—we don’t need Tate having two babies. Though I still don’t think Sophia’s baby is actually his.

Speaking of Sophia, the new one debuts on Wednesday! Look for new actress Rachel Boyd in the role. She’s gorgeous, by the way—so was Meline K, who previously played Sophia. Rachel Boyd has a similar feel, so I think they did a great job with the recast.

Sophia interrupts Tate and Holly’s romantic dinner, and I wonder if that pushes Holly to want to get intimate with him. After Tate bails on Holly to take a crucial phone call with Sophia, guess who shows up at Brady Pub to see Holly?

Of course—it’s Doug Three.

Meanwhile, Chanel and Johnny talk about plans for the future now that they’re back together. They also run into Tate and Sophia.

Doug Three brings flowers to Julie for Valentine’s Day—though that might happen on Thursday instead.

Doug Three is also upset over some bad news from Leo. Since Leo lost his head writer job, he won’t need an assistant anymore—so Doug Three is out of a job. But maybe Leo and Doug Three can be unemployed job-seekers together?

Kayla and Stephanie are left reeling by something.

Thursday, February 13th

Jada finds fake Rafe and lays into him. She thinks he’s her ex-fiancé and accuses him of betraying her and working behind her back to do dirty deeds with EJ.

Meanwhile, Philip and Xander are handling Titan business. But Philip has to dial back Xander’s aggressive takeover plans, or Sarah might expose him.

EJ is stunned to see Ava held captive by Kristen’s mom. Looks like he might get Rachel Blake to babysit Rafe for him—since she’s already watching Ava, what’s one more hostage?

EJ then prods at Kristen, and she’s alarmed. Kristen and Sarah argue about something on Thursday, and if Kristen rubs Sarah the wrong way, maybe she’ll rethink letting Xander take over DiMera Enterprises.

That would be hilarious.

Friday, February 14th

Chanel and Johnny aren’t just ready for the future—they’re ready to expand their family!

They lost their first baby to miscarriage (remember the radioactive freezing tractor incident?), but now it’s happy baby time.

But let’s hope there are no issues—because, you know, Days of Our Lives loves throwing in unexpected pregnancy drama.

Johnny has a romantic Valentine’s Day planned for Chanel.

Meanwhile, Maggie asks Holly point-blank if she’s planning to get intimate with Tate on Valentine’s Day. She warns her granddaughter that if she’s doing it just to compete with Sophia, don’t do it.

Do it for the right reaso

Steve has a big Valentine’s Day surprise for Kayla, and Stephanie helps make it happen. Thankfully, Kayla is back home and ready for romance with Patch.

Sophia and Tate talk about convincing her mom, Amy, to let them give the baby up for adoption.

The Following Week (Feb 17–21)

EJ and Kristen need to figure out a way out of their mutual predicaments.

Rachel put Kristen in a tough spot by luring Ava to the Blake house so her namesake grandma could take her captive. Now, Kristen is stuck—she can’t let Ava go, and Rachel Senior is encouraging her to kill Ava.

EJ is in a similar tough spot. Idiot Arnold is now the new police commissioner, and the real Rafe is also with Kristen’s mom.

If Rafe goes free, he’ll expose everything, and EJ will end up in jail.

So… will EJ and Kristen actually consider letting her mom kill their two problematic hostages?

I mean, it’s not like they haven’t done horrible things before.

Side note: Fun week ahead with no Sloan drama! Yay! Never mentioning it again.

Sophia still has challenges ahead with Tate, and addin

Holly wants to move forward, and Tate seems to think that’s not an obstacle. But unless they can convince Sophia’s mom to approve the adoption, he and Sophia might be raising a baby together.

He was supposed to talk to Eric Brady about finding a Christian couple to adopt the baby.

Which brings us back to… will Johnny and Chanel’s storyline overlap?

Jada is frustrated, angry, and suspicious. With all this free time on her hands (since she’s suspended from her job), will she start tailing EJ or fake Rafe?

How long until Shawn or JJ realize that Arnold is an imposter? He knows nothing about being a cop or their shared history.

Though, to be fair, Shawn did mention to Jada the other day that Rafe not seeming like himself might be because of the coma he was in.

Jada isn’t convinced, but Shawn and JJ might give Arnold some slack.

But come on—it should be obvious.

Except… this is Salem, so anything is possible.

Meanwhile, Rafe and Ava enjoy some quality time as co-captives. Hopefully, they’re plotting their escape.

The woman in white, Stefan, and Brady intensify their search for Ava now that they know she didn’t send that text.

Belle is hiding her fling with EJ—but with Jada poking around, how long before their affair is exposed?

How will Belle handle an angry Jada, who considers Belle sleeping with EJ a huge betrayal?
