TJ Ashford’s Mysterious Absence

General Hospital fans have been wondering what has happened to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).

TJ has not been seen or heard from in some time. Since TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) are getting along, he has been nowhere to be seen.

Has TJ gone on vacation, or is he just waiting in the wings at the hospital until he’s needed?

Tajh Bellow Breaks His Silence

Bellow posted on his Instagram on Tuesday to offer fans a bit of an update.

Reflecting on TJ’s emotional year, he shared that:

• First, TJ learned that their surrogate lost the baby she was carrying.
• Then, he lost his daughter with Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi), whom he and Molly were supposed to raise.
• Afterward, tensions rose between TJ and Molly due to her support for Kristina.

“What a year we had,” Bellow posted, along with a collage of key moments from last year.

Bellow Reflects on His Journey as TJ Ashford

“Playing Dr. TJ Ashford has been a groundbreaking experience for my career. Pouring into TJ as he poured into me has been illuminating in many regards.”

Bellow also credited several media outlets, including Soap Opera Network, for following his career since his daytime debut in 2018.

“I want to acknowledge and thank these great sources that have credited me with honorable placement amongst my peers over the course of 2024. Grieving such immense loss took everything in me, and I’m blessed that my work resonated with you all.”

What’s Next for TJ?

Bellow then stopped short of revealing his future on the show, saying:

“I know a lot of my fans are wondering what’s next for TJ, but before I speak to that, I wanted to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together. I’m excited for this year’s Emmy Awards.”

Tajh Bellow has not been seen on-screen since December 2023. He has been on contract status since 2022, marking the first time an actor in this role had been put on contract since TJ’s debut in 2012.

TJ Ashford’s Journey on General Hospital

TJ came to Port Charles and lived with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), who later turned out to be his father.

Before Bellow took over the role of TJ, he appeared in:

More recently, he made appearances in NCIS, 9-1-1: Lone Star, and other TV shows.
