Her portrayal of Bobbie Spencer earned her four Daytime Emmy nominations, showcasing her incredible talent. Bobbie, initially introduced as the rebellious sister of the prominent Luke Spencer (played by Anthony Geary), had a tumultuous past—delving into prostitution as a teenager and eventually giving up her baby for adoption. However, she managed to turn her life around and found solace as a nurse at General Hospital.

It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Jaclyn Zeman, who passed away at the age of 70 due to cancer on May 9, 2023.

Johnny Wactor stole the hearts of General Hospital fans when he took on the role of Brando Corbin, the long-lost son of Gladys Corbin. Despite being new to daytime soaps, Wactor had already made a name for himself with appearances on The OA and Westworld.

From 2020 to 2022, he graced the screen as a regular cast member, surprising viewers who had initially believed his character to be deceased. However, it didn’t take long for Wactor to win them over with his clever and mischievous behavior.

Tragically, on May 25, 2024, Wactor’s life was cut short at the age of 37. Leaving work at a bar in downtown Los Angeles, he noticed someone tampering with his car and approached to inquire about the situation, unaware that his catalytic converter was being stolen. Without warning, the thief shot him, and despite being rushed to the hospital, Wactor was pronounced dead.

Sonia Eddy, the beloved actress who played Nurse Epiphany Johnson on General Hospital, passed away on December 19, 2022. She joined the show in 2006 and became known for her portrayal of the brutally honest yet lovable nurse.

Prior to her untimely passing, she had been scheduled for a routine procedure but developed an uncontrollable infection. According to her friend and producing partner Tyler Ford, despite being placed on life support, Eddy ultimately succumbed to her illness.
