Young and the Restless Next Week: Victor & Phyllis Play Dirty And Mariah Confesses
Y&R Spoilers Week of May 12–16: Claire’s Bold Plan, Victor Declares War, and Mariah’s Shocking Confession
Big drama is brewing on The Young and the Restless the week of May 12–16, as Claire Grace pushes forward with her relationship, Victor Newman launches a full-on campaign of sabotage, and Mariah Copeland prepares to reveal a secret that could shake her marriage. Here’s a detailed look at what fans can expect.
Victor Loses Control Over Claire and Kyle
As the week kicks off, Claire Grace shocks Victor Newman by announcing that she and Kyle Abbott are moving in together. Victor is furious and refuses to respect Claire’s independence or listen to Nikki’s attempts to reason with him.
The situation escalates when Victor learns that Claire and Kyle plan to move into Adam’s old apartment. Viewing this as an outright betrayal, Victor accuses Kyle of trying to tear Claire away from her family. This leads to Victor confronting Kyle at Jabot, demanding he abandon the apartment purchase and end things with Claire.
Victor then confronts Adam, insisting he refuse to sell the apartment to Claire and Kyle. Adam, unimpressed, shrugs it off, pointing out that it’s simply a real estate transaction and they can easily find another place to live. Still, Victor remains determined to sabotage their relationship at any cost.
Claire’s Surprising Strategy
Despite the pressure from Victor, Claire stands firm and tells Kyle she has no intention of leaving him. Together, they decide to face her grandfather’s wrath head-on.
Next week, Claire comes up with a bold idea to win Victor over — she plans to throw a party. With the help of Nikki and Victoria, Claire hopes the celebration (likely for Nikki’s upcoming birthday) will soften Victor’s stance toward Kyle. She may even get help from Pietro, the flamboyant party planner played by Queer Eye’s Jai Rodriguez.
Still, fans shouldn’t expect miracles. Victor’s temper is running hot, and he’s already laying the groundwork for a major offensive against the Abbotts.
Phyllis and Victor: A New Alliance?
Meanwhile, Victor finds an unexpected ally in Phyllis Summers. After being fired by Billy Abbott and replaced with Sally Spectra at AbbottCom, Phyllis is seeking revenge. She approaches Victor, offering him inside information in exchange for a favor.
While the full extent of her intel is unclear, she may know more than she should about Billy’s business plans. If Victor gives her what she wants, Phyllis could become a powerful weapon in his war against the Abbotts — especially Billy.
Mariah’s Emotional Breakdown
Elsewhere, Tessa and Mariah share a tearful moment in the park. Tessa fears she’s somehow hurt Mariah and offers to attend therapy or counseling to rebuild trust. But the real shock comes when Mariah admits she’s the one who needs forgiveness.
Mariah has been visibly burdened by guilt since returning from her recent trip. She previously told Sharon she did something terrible — something Tessa must never find out. Although she tried to downplay it as merely drinking too much from the mini bar, it’s clear something far more serious occurred.
Speculation is swirling that Mariah may have cheated while she was away. Next week, she finally comes clean, leaving viewers to find out whether her marriage can survive the fallout.
