We have predictions for EJ, Kayla and Xander, for Marina and Susan, for Tate and Sophia, for Rachel, Kristen, and Brady, and also for Philip and Kevin. And if you don’t know who that is, I’ll tell you.

Prediction #1: EJ Is Miffed at Kayla Over Xander’s Offer
EJ wants to buy the hospital and get his hands on the Versix drug. He’s been meeting with Dr. Russell and made an offer to purchase the hospital.
But Kayla wasn’t impressed—she told him to kick rocks and shove the offer where the sun doesn’t shine.
Now Xander is also trying to buy the hospital, aiming to fold it into Demra Pharmaceuticals under Titan, following the takeover that upset Kristen and EJ.
In Wednesday’s spoiler, Xander needs a favor from Kayla. He might want her help presenting his offer to the board with a favorable recommendation.
Kayla may be more receptive to Xander than EJ—after all, she works with Xander’s wife Sarah, and EJ has done plenty of damage to the Bradys.
If EJ finds out Kayla is giving Xander a better shot, he could lose it and complain to the board.
So, a bidding war may be brewing—EJ using his own money, and Xander bringing corporate cash.
EJ’s financial power is uncertain, but with Titan and Demra behind him, Xander likely has deeper pockets.
And with Johnny working at Titan—his grandma Marina and great-aunt Kayla both being doctors—he could serve as a liaison to help close the deal.
Prediction #2: Marina’s Joy Turns to Grief
Marina has handed over the search for John Black to Andrew Donovan, who’s getting help from fiancé Paul Narita.
Steve told Marina in Estonia that it was time to head home—they weren’t getting results.
Next week’s promo has Marina receiving a call that leaves her ecstatic. She believes John has been found and is coming home.
She shares the news with Susan Banks, who doesn’t share her optimism. Susan says she feels like someone walked over her grave and urges caution.
We all know John Black’s time on Days is coming to an end. His death will be revealed soon.
The scenes were written and filmed while Drake Hogestyn was still alive, and they tried to write an ending with hope. Kin Corday even promised Drake the exit would be open-ended.
But sadly, Drake lost his battle with pancreatic cancer, making John Black’s death permanent.
And Marina’s hope will soon turn to heartbreak.
As casting spoilers confirm, a wave of returning characters—including Sami, Will, Ariana, Hope, and Bo—are coming back in June for John’s funeral.
It’s going to be a powerful and emotional moment.
Prediction #3: Tate and Sophia Secretly Set Up an Adoption
Tate and Sophia discussed her upcoming 18th birthday—which means she’ll legally be able to make decisions about her baby.
She’s still on partial bed rest, with a couple more months to go in the pregnancy.
On Thursday, spoilers show Tate and Sophia celebrating her birthday, and from there, they can proceed with adoption plans.
Despite Amy’s objections, Tate and Sophia want to go to college and are not ready to be parents.
Belle Black was involved with adoption paperwork for Chanel and Johnny. I wonder if Tate and Sophia will quietly ask Belle to find adoptive parents behind Amy’s back.
If Belle refuses, they might turn to Melinda Trask—who has no issue bending rules. She did it before for Sloan when she illegally facilitated Nicole and Eric’s baby adoption.
Sophia’s mom will likely go ballistic if she finds out. And she probably will.
Amy Choi might try to stop them, but it may be too late.
There’s also a chance Johnny reconsiders adopting with Chanel, but Tate and Sophia may be hesitant to trust him again.
Prediction #4: Rachel Alarms Kristen and Brady
Recently, Kristen and Brady discussed Rachel’s therapy and noticed she’s been withdrawn.
Kristen thinks she doesn’t need therapy, but Brady insists she continues.
On Wednesday, the family celebrates Rachel’s birthday. But something goes wrong.
In a spoiler photo (we can’t show for copyright), Rachel is seen upset at the Demra mansion. She buries her face in Kristen’s neck while Brady kneels beside her, deeply concerned.
Our source claims Rachel is the one who shot Uncle EJ. That truth may come out during the summer trial.
But Rachel may already be saying unsettling things—like having to “take care of enemies,” echoing her mother’s mindset.
If she says something revealing at her birthday celebration, Kristen and Brady might grow even more alarmed.
It’s possible she’ll confide in her therapist, leading to even more complications.
Prediction #5: Philip Steals the Drug That Could Save Bo
Philip starts digging through Demra Pharmaceutical files at Titan, knowing the Versix drug is a hot commodity.
Spoilers say Philip reaches out to Kevin Lambert, an old science friend, to steal the drug. Kevin may work in the lab where it’s being developed.
Philip may want to reverse engineer the drug for profit—or to sabotage Xander and gain leverage at Titan.
But stealing it could doom Bo, who desperately needs that drug.
Shawn and Steve also break into the lab, but the Versix is gone.
Kayla only wanted one dose taken to avoid suspicion—but now it’s completely missing.
Kevin, for those unfamiliar, was in the Last Blast Reunion storyline, involved in shady science with Jan Spears.
Philip might plan to sell the drug, but once he learns Bo needs it to survive, panic sets in.
He can’t return it without exposing his theft—but he might still anonymously deliver it to Bo’s hospital in Europe.
Will Philip redeem himself by saving Bo—without revealing his crime?
