Things are getting increasingly disturbing in Genoa City as Holden Novak’s fixation on Audra Charles spirals out of control. Despite Audra’s repeated rejections, Holden remains determined to insert himself into her life — and his tactics are becoming more dangerous by the day.
Holden, who claims he only wants to “protect” Audra, has been stalking her around town and dredging up her past relationships — especially her romantic history with Kyle Abbott. His interest in Kyle seems more than casual, and some fans speculate Holden may target Kyle next in a misguided attempt to win Audra back.
Recently, it was revealed that Victor Newman tasked Audra with a covert mission to sabotage Kyle and Claire’s relationship. While Audra is hesitant to seduce Kyle, Holden might not be so restrained. As an adrenaline junkie and risk-taker — a fact even Audra has acknowledged — Holden could take matters into his own hands, no matter how twisted the plan.
One potential scenario being whispered about involves Holden drugging both Kyle and Audra, staging a fake affair, and snapping incriminating photos. These images could then be sent to Claire, effectively destroying her trust in Kyle and clearing the path for Audra’s business deal with Victor to go through. Worse yet, Holden might also leak the photos to Nate Hastings — Audra’s current love interest — to isolate her completely and make her vulnerable.
If not photos, Holden could manipulate Claire directly by suggesting she check the GCAC hotel, implying Kyle and Audra were seen going upstairs together. A setup like that could lead Claire to walk in on a compromising scene — real or not — giving Holden the outcome he desires without exposing his involvement.
Despite Audra making it clear she has no interest in Holden and warning him to leave town, he refuses to back off. Instead, he continues to hover, convinced that if he “helps” her accomplish Victor’s goals, she’ll finally see him as a hero.
But Holden’s efforts are more self-serving than supportive. By sabotaging Kyle, he believes he can deliver what Audra wants — Victor’s investment — and in return, get what he wants: a second chance with Audra. However, his actions could just as easily ruin her personal and professional life.
In the coming episodes, viewers can expect Holden’s schemes to intensify. Whether he goes after Kyle directly or manipulates the people around them, one thing is clear: Holden Novak is becoming one of the most dangerous men in Genoa City — and Audra might not even see the true threat until it’s too late.
