Major Y&R Debut: Beloved Newman Member Is Back With Dumas’ Pawn
Things are looking good for the upcoming week on Bold and the Beautiful, as well as Young and the Restless. We’ve got a new face making their debut along with some much missed characters returning, while some might be making their goodbyes.
So, watch till the end to find out who’s in and out this week.
Hey everyone, welcome to Trend Street.
Starting with Young and the Restless, we have Melissa Ordway. That’s right. After being off the canvas again and again, Ordway is bringing her character Abby Newman Winters to town.
It really has been a bummer that we’re not getting Abby on screen anymore. Ever since she was taken off contract as a regular, she pops in for an episode or two and vanishes again. But this on-again, off-again is making the fans want to see her more.
And with Amanda back in town, Abby better keep an eye out for her man before he starts developing some old feelings for the ex. While we doubt Devon’s ever going to do that to her, who knows? It’s soap after all.
So, you guys better keep an eye out for Abby as she returns on screen on Thursday, May 22nd.
Talking about Amanda, the actress Mishael Morgan will continue to get more screen time this week as well. After her surprise entry last week, it’s clear that Amanda’s here on business— not just any business— the one which might just get Jack and Victor in trouble.
But this is just the beginning of Amanda’s new storyline. She’ll be on screen again from May 19th, Monday’s episode. She’ll be sharing scenes with Jason Thompson’s Billy, Courtney Hope’s Sally, and Phyllis, played by Michelle Stafford.
Oh, and look out for Abby and Amanda’s scene too, as they cross paths at the end of this week.
Lastly, we have a new face in Genoa City—Vincent Stalba—who made his debut with his on-screen character Carter through a telephone call to Phyllis last week.
Now, Carter is the assistant to the mysterious Aristotle Duma. And talking about Stalba, he’s no stranger to TV. His credits include some small roles in the primetime series The Inspectors, as well as Apple TV Plus’s Lessons in Chemistry and Netflix’s The Vince Staples Show.
Moving on, let’s get to The Bold and the Beautiful.
We have Dr. Grace Buckingham, mother of Paris Buckingham, returning to screen again, played by Cassandra Creech. Dr. Grace has some news for her patient Liam. And looking at the spoilers, it’s definitely not going to be a good one.
Will this news destroy Liam’s last remaining hope for any chance of surviving his tumor? We really hope not. But Dr. Grace will have a chat with Liam on Wednesday, May 21st.
Last but not the least, there has been some uncertainty going on with Lisa Yamada’s character, Luna. As we all know, Luna is in the middle of a very major storyline.
I mean, her plan is starting to work on Will, as she’s got him thinking about her. And then there’s the one where she’s trying hard to reconnect with Finn—or at least convince Finn that she’s not as damaged and crazy as everyone thinks she is.
But there’s a chance Luna might be leaving the show soon. Why? Well, recently the actress has been cast as Amber in Elle, a prequel series to the film Legally Blonde.
So, with shooting and everything, she might need time off B&B. While she hasn’t said anything about staying or leaving the soap yet, Yamada’s status is still in question.
