And it was this dreamy beach wedding that we still can’t get over.

While Young and the Restless fans know Steve Burton for his role as Dialin Makavoy, he’s famously known as the badass Jason Morgan from General Hospital.
And while Jason might have been all cool and stuff, Burton’s real-life story has had its fair share of ups and downs.
After a very public and rocky divorce, it looked like love had left him in the dust.
But true to form, Burton picked himself back up and found romance again in the most unexpected and delicious way.
We’re talking about Michelle Lundtorm — a chef, content creator, and woman who clearly knows her way around both a kitchen and a heart.
Michelle isn’t just any culinary queen.
She appeared on Barbecue Showdown season 2 on Netflix, where she not only grilled up some serious heat,
but apparently captured Steve’s heart along the way.
Steve and Michelle’s story first began in the DMs, where the two bonded over their mutual love for everything 1980s.
From Top Gun to synth pop and retroflicks, it didn’t take long for those casual chats to turn into something deeper.
By August 2024, the pair made things Instagram official,
showing the world that Steve was back in the love game with Michelle by his side.
Then in January 2025, Steve finally popped the question — in the most romantic way possible.
He recreated the scene of their very first meeting in Nashville, right down to the details.
And now they’ve taken the biggest step of all.
On May 16th, Steve and Michelle officially tied the knot in a beautiful private ceremony in Laguna Beach, California.
The vows were exchanged in an intimate Orthodox church service, surrounded by only their nearest and dearest,
followed by a romantic coastal reception that looked like it was straight from a Pinterest board.
We’re talking soft candle lights, flowers everywhere, and a romantic vibe that honestly would make anyone jealous.
But none of it comes close to the happy couple.
Michelle was looking absolutely stunning in a custom strapless couture gown by Lee Petra Grebenau,
and Steve was dashing as ever right beside her.
But the most memorable part of their party?
Their first dance to I Choose You by Forest Blakk.
However, it wasn’t just about the bride and groom —
it was two families coming together to become one.
Michelle’s daughters, Laya and Hannah,
joined Steve’s kids, McKina, Jack, and Brooklyn, to be there for their parents.
Michelle’s sister, Janine, stood by her side as maid of honor,
while Steve’s best bud, Jeremy Ross, rocked the best man duties.
Longtime friend and fellow GH alum, Jonathan Jackson, was also there to witness the big day.
And since the wedding ceremony is over, the newly married couple are now in Maui, Hawaii,
honeymooning on the beach, soaking up all the sun.
