According to Young and the Restless spoilers of May 28th, Ashley Abbott, played by Eileen Davidson, is finally coming home.
And she’s not the only Abbott sister coming back because Beth Maitlin’s Tracy is returning as well.
However, this ain’t a simple drop-by.
Nope. It’s bound to stir up some drama on Y&R.
As we’ve been seeing, Diane has been working on the Abbott mansion renovations.
While Kyle and Jack have been loving it, Billy isn’t impressed much.
He prefers the original.
And now with Ashley and Tracy heading back home, Diane is suddenly feeling all kinds of anxious.
Will the sisters love the changes or not?
But that’s not what we’re worried about.
Nope, not at all. We’ve got something to look forward to.
Apparently, Ashley comes with some surprising news for the family.
So, what could this be about?
If it’s about Jabot, then well, that’s going to be boring and disappointing.
But what if it’s something else?
Well, rumor has it Ashley might have found herself a little romance while she was in NYC.
Yep, forget Empire State sightseeing.
Sounds like she may have been swept off her feet.
And since Tracy also visited her in NYC, there’s a good chance Ashley’s already filled in Tracy about the mystery man.
I mean, we’d love nothing more than to see Ashley with someone who’s not a corporate snake or a sociopath.
Because let’s be honest, her track record has been rough.
And after Tracy’s last love interest turned out to be the twisted Martin La, who everyone thought was Allen, no one wants another psycho on the loose.
So, let’s hope Ashley’s new guy is charming, kind, and dare we say, normal.
Still, here’s a twist we didn’t see coming.
What if Tracy starts feeling left out, or a little envious?
We all know she’s had her share of heartbreak, and it wouldn’t be the first time she felt like Ashley got the happy ending while she played backup.
If Ashley’s glowing and gushing about her new man, could that stir up some sisterly tension?
And here’s where things get really interesting.
What if this isn’t a brand-new character at all?
Maybe the guy Ashley’s dating is someone we already know from Genoa City.
I mean, we’ve seen this happen before, for example, with Cole Howard and Victoria.
A romantic blast from the past turned into a whole new storyline.
Could Ashley be in for something similar?
Whether this guy is someone new, someone old, or someone with secrets of his own, one thing’s for sure:
Ashley’s return is going to surprise us all.
