The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will start reconsidering Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) theory about Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Initially, Daniel found Phyllis’ suspicion that Sharon might be behind Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death and frame-up to be too outrageous. But as Phyllis laid out her reasoning, Daniel became intrigued and agreed that she should dig deeper into Sharon’s possible involvement.
The more Daniel reflects on Phyllis’ argument, the more he begins to see the pieces falling into place, potentially linking Sharon to Heather’s demise. At the very least, Daniel feels sure that Sharon lied about Heather’s claims the night she died. Daniel remembers that he and Heather weren’t fighting at all, so it’s bizarre that Heather would confide in Sharon about a big blowup between them. Though Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) suggested that Heather could have been hiding a personal issue, such as a secret lover, Daniel quickly dismissed that idea. Instead, Daniel starts to believe that Sharon is manipulating the situation to make him look guilty.
As the evidence builds up, Sharon becomes the most likely suspect in his eyes. With mounting pressure, Daniel will make a bold move in the upcoming episodes. During the week of October 21-25, Daniel will confront Sharon and demand a confession. Y&R viewers can expect Daniel to press Sharon hard for the truth about what really happened with Heather. Daniel may call Sharon out for her suspicious visit to the apartment, questioning whether she returned to plant evidence. He might also confront her about the unsent text on Heather’s phone to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), accusing Sharon of writing it to support her false narrative to the police.
Sharon’s claim that there was tension between Daniel and Heather could be part of an elaborate scheme, and Daniel may accuse her of crafting the text to paint him as dangerous while making Heather seem fearful of him. While Daniel may not have all the answers, he will push Sharon to admit that she’s falsely accusing him and exaggerating the situation.
