Is This the End of ‘Bally’ on ‘The Young and the Restless’?

Place your bets, folks, because the end is nigh for Billy and Sally on The Young and the Restless. The only thing left to wager on is whether their relationship will remain intact through the end of Friday’s episode.

Really, “Silly” should never have worked as well as it did in the first place, considering that the couple only got together in the wake of Adam and Chelsea’s betrayals of their significant others. But Billy and Sally clicked in a big way, and now, not so much.

Even after for Abbott Communications, Billy was like, “Ah, let’s see how this plays out a little bit.” Sally, in turn, was like, “Hell no. When the fit hits the fan, who are they going to hang this mess on? Me.”

Billy suggested that he and Sally cool their heels and gather more information about Kane’s magical AI. And hey, maybe it is magical. AI is destroying businesses and whole industries right and left, so why couldn’t it also be used as a weapon against Victor? “What if it’s real?” Billy asked breathlessly. “What if he hands us the keys to the kingdom?”

Because if it seems too good to be true, yeah, old chap, it is. It always is. Sally, who wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth like her beau, knows this. “When it all gets shot to hell, we’re going to be the ones to pay,” she said. Or rather, she would be the one, because Billy has all that Abbott money to fall back on.
