Alyvia Alyn Lind Returning To Y&R, Good News For fans!
Olivia Allen Lind has been immersed in the entertainment world since she was just a toddler. Having started her career at the young age of three, it’s no surprise that despite being only 12 years old, she has already built an impressive resume filled with significant acting roles.
Many fans recognize her from her performances in The Young and the Restless, the Dolly Parton biopic series, or the Netflix hit Daybreak. However, beyond the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, there’s much more to her life that remains behind the scenes.
Born on July 27th, 2007, Olivia is just a few months away from celebrating her 13th birthday. She hails from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. Her father, John Lind, is a well-respected director and producer, while her mother, Barbara Allen Lind (née Woods), is a talented actress. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Barbara stepped into the acting scene back in 1988, making her debut as Sheree in the ABC series Sable.
Her big break came in 1997 when she landed a lead role in Disney’s television series Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. It was on the set of this very show that she crossed paths with John Lind, the man she would eventually marry in 1999. Their love story soon led to a growing family. Starting with their first daughter, Natalie Allen, they later welcomed Emily Allen, followed by Olivia five years after that.
With a household filled with creativity and talent, it was only natural that all three daughters followed in their parents’ footsteps and pursued acting careers. Olivia’s big break came when she stepped into the role of Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless. From there, her journey in the entertainment industry took off, leading to roles in various television shows and films, including Dark Skies, NCIS, Mockingbird, Sead Run, and A Date to Die For.
A significant turning point in her career came in 2015 when she was personally selected to portray a young Dolly Parton in the critically acclaimed television movie Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors. The film was met with widespread success, prompting a follow-up sequel in 2016, Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, in which she reprised her role.
In 2019, Olivia continued to expand her horizons, making her Hulu debut in the sci-fi comedy series Future Man. That same year, she also stepped into the world of Netflix with her standout role as Angelica Green in the post-apocalyptic drama Daybreak. Interestingly, she wasn’t the only Lind sister involved in the series—her older sister, Emily Allen, also appeared in the show.
Despite already having an impressive career at such a young age, Olivia continues to push forward, taking on exciting new projects. One of her upcoming roles includes starring in the thriller Masquerade, where she is set to play the character Casey.
With her undeniable talent, dedication, and passion for acting, Olivia Allen Lind is undoubtedly a rising star whose journey is only just beginning. Fans can expect to see much more of her as she continues to carve her path in the entertainment industry.
