The Bold and The Beautiful

Brooke leaves LA with Nick after learning Ridge agreed to marry Taylor | Bold and Beautiful Spoilers

In the bustling heart of Il Giardino, just as the evening rush begins to swell with laughter and clinking glasses, Nick walks in for what he believes will be a quiet dinner.
But what he witnesses instead stops him cold: Taylor, standing before Ridge, eyes full of hope, offering a ring and a future.

The words hang in the air like a promise.
But Ridge’s face is unreadable.

From across the room, Nick can’t hear their conversation, but he sees enough to draw his own conclusion.
To him, Ridge is saying yes.
To him, Taylor just won.

Without hesitation, Nick leaves the restaurant and heads straight to Brooke’s house, the weight of the moment pressing down on him with every step.

Brooke, curled up on the couch in her robe, barely hides her surprise when Nick appears at her door unannounced.
She tries to smile, but her eyes betray her exhaustion — this tug-of-war with Ridge has worn her down.

Nick doesn’t waste time.
“You need to hear this from me,” he says, voice low but urgent.
“Taylor proposed to Ridge… and he said yes.”

The silence that follows is deafening.
Brooke’s breath catches, her entire body going still.

“No,” she whispers, shaking her head.
“He wouldn’t. Not without talking to me.”

But Nick’s face tells her he believes what he saw.
And just like that, every shred of hope Brooke clung to begins to crumble.

She doesn’t cry — not immediately.
Instead, she moves robotically to pour herself a glass of wine, her fingers trembling.

“I thought we still had a chance,” she murmurs, almost to herself.
“I thought he needed time… that he was just confused.”

But the realization hits hard and fast — if Ridge is choosing Taylor, it means he’s no longer choosing her.

Nick watches her with quiet concern before stepping closer.
“You don’t deserve this, Logan,” he says gently. “Not again. Not from him.”

Brooke looks up at him, eyes glossy with unshed tears.
“So what now? I just let them have their fairy tale?”

That’s when Nick makes his move.
“Come with me,” he says, a softness in his voice she hasn’t heard in years.
“Let’s get out of here. Italy. My place. A week away from all of this.”

Brooke blinks, unsure if she heard right.
“You want me to run away?” she asks, not angry but stunned.

Nick smiles faintly. “No. I want you to take a breath. To remember who you are when you’re not tangled up in Ridge’s indecision. Let me remind you.”

In her vulnerable state, the offer feels like salvation. A part of Brooke — wounded and tired — reaches for the escape. And before long, she agrees.

“Maybe I do need to get away… before I lose myself completely,” she says, more to herself than to him.

Nick promises to make all the arrangements, and for the first time in days, Brooke manages a real — if small — smile.

But as the sun rises over the Forrester estate the next morning, a different truth begins to emerge.

Ridge never actually said yes to Taylor.
He hesitated.
He pulled back.

And while Taylor still holds on to hope, there has been no engagement.
No commitment.

Which raises a chilling possibility —

Did Nick lie to Brooke?
Did he twist what he saw to finally break the bond between Ridge and Brooke once and for all?

If so, what is Nick truly after — a second chance with Brooke, or just revenge against Ridge?

As Brooke prepares to board a plane that could take her far away from everything, one question lingers in the air:

Has she just walked away from the man she still loves… because of a lie?
