Seems like it’s the wedding season because another one of our favorite soap couples got married in real life. That’s right—Casey Moss and True O’Brien just tied the knot, and it was absolutely beautiful.

Days of Our Lives fans definitely know Casey Moss, the actor who has been playing the role of JJ Deveraux for years. And if you were tuning in back in 2014, you’ll no doubt recall True O’Brien, too, who played Paige Larson—JJ’s love interest on the show.
But these two weren’t just co-stars. They were on-screen lovers, too, until the show tore JJ and Paige apart when Paige’s own mother slept with JJ. Y’all remember that, right?
Even though Paige met a tragic end in 2015 at the hands of the infamous necktie killer, it turns out something beautiful came out of their short-lived on-screen romance. Their fictional relationship blossomed into something real, and Casey and True totally hit it off.
They began dating back in 2015, right after her character’s exit. And now, nearly a decade later, they’ve officially sealed the deal and become husband and wife.
If you’ve been following their journey, you might remember the proposal, too. Back in June 2022, Casey took True to a beautiful clifftop, got down on one knee, and popped the question. Of course, she said yes!
And now, the engaged couple has officially made it official, walking down the aisle. The couple said their “I do’s” on Sunday, May 25th, in a romantic wedding that looked straight out of a dream.
Our favorite moment? The photo of them sharing a kiss—and the shot where the newlyweds are surrounded by seagulls in the background.
Now, fans who once rooted for JJ and Paige on screen have something extra special to celebrate—because their favorite fictional couple just got a real-life happily ever after. How often does that happen, am I right?
We couldn’t be more thrilled for Casey and True as they step into this new chapter together. Congrats to the newlyweds! We wish them nothing but the best on their new journey.
