Death of: 1 hour ago, Y&R We Are Reporting the TRAGIC DEATH of Claire, May He Rest in Peace
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Claire Newman (Haley Aaron) is mad that Grandpa Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t approve of her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). This disapproval stems from Victor’s long-standing hatred for Kyle’s father, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). As a result, Claire is forced to pick sides.
Claire was unstable when she traumatized the Newman family in the past, but that was due to Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) control. Since then, Claire has vowed her loyalty to the Newmans and is now living and working among her family. But how long can this happiness last?
Claire wants Victor’s approval, but she also wants to be with Kyle. She has voiced her disagreement with Victor’s agenda, and it’s only a matter of time before she does something rash and becomes a traitor in Victor’s eyes.
We know that Victor has planted spies at Jabot. These spies will report back to Victor, giving him the chance to sabotage Jack’s company. However, Kyle is Jabot’s co-CEO, and it seems unlikely that Claire would stand by and allow Victor to ruin her boyfriend’s life. This means Claire may have to step in and thwart Victor’s plans.
She could expose Victor’s spies, allowing Jack and Kyle to fire them or feed them misleading information. Can you imagine how furious Victor would be if Claire exposes his plot? Explosive!
Y&R spoilers tease that Claire will be feeling the pressure to choose a side in the Newman-Abbott war—a battle that began long before she was born. Interestingly, she only recently became aware that she is a Newman. Will this influence her allegiance?
Kyle is Claire’s first boyfriend, and she is reveling in the romance. It’s hard to imagine her giving up her happiness just to please her grumpy grandpa. After all, she once played the role of a would-be family assassin!
Another valid question: How stable is Claire? She’s been through a lot, including murdering (or so we think) her aunt Jordan. Is she truly reformed, or will she cross Victor by disobeying him?
