The Young and the Restless

Explosive Returns + Fresh Debuts | Y&R’s May Sweep Casting Update

We’ve got new faces coming all at once this week with jam-packed drama, not only on Young and the Restless, but Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital, too.
So, watch till the end to know all the comings and goings of your favorite soaps.

Starting with Young and the Restless, we have a very special guest coming on this week.
And we’re talking about the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy star, Jai Rodriguez, who’s all set to make his debut on Wednesday, May 28th.

Rodriguez will be playing the role of Pro, the very famous and successful party planner who will be making Nikki’s birthday bash a dream come true.
We’re talking fancy clothes like it’s a fashion show — extravagant party mixed with some drama.

And what makes this even better? He’s not here for just one, but four full episodes.

Now, it may be Rodriguez’s first time on Y&R, but he’s no newbie to daytime TV.
In fact, he’s been in almost all soaps — Days of Our Lives, Bold and the Beautiful, All My Children, and One Life to Live.
So, we just know it’s going to be amazing.

Then we might finally see Days of Our Lives alum Billy Flynn make his debut on Y&R.
Yes, we know Y&R hasn’t announced his official air date or the character he’s playing yet, but they sure did say it would be in spring.
And since spring ends on May 31st, it makes perfect sense for Flynn to make his big entrance.

Plus, Flynn has already wrapped up his filming as Chad DiMera on Days back in late April.
And sure, Y&R is trying to surprise us by keeping all the details under wraps, but as far as we think, Flynn’s about to make his debut on Y&R during Nikki’s birthday party — that’s happening on May 30th.

Last but not the least, get ready to see the Abbott sisters back in Genoa City this week.
After getting heartbroken and betrayed by her ex-fiancé Alan — who turned out to be the evil twin brother, Martin — Traci, played by Beth Maitland, is finally returning home from her much-needed getaway in France.

You can expect to see Traci starting from Wednesday, May 28th, as she shares scenes with Jack and Diane.
And you definitely don’t want to miss out on her reaction to Diane’s renovation of the Abbott mansion.

As for Ashley, played by Eileen Davidson, she’s coming to Genoa City after her trip to NYC.
And she’s got some pretty big news for the family on Thursday, May 29th.
Could it be related to the family business? Or did Ashley find a new guy for herself during her time in NYC?
We’ll just have to wait and see.

Oh, and we also have Amanda Sinclair, played by Mishael Morgan, who will be getting tons of screen time throughout this week.

Now moving on to Bold and the Beautiful — we have actor-comedian Tom Arnold, who is once again stepping into the role of Captain Deuce Stevens, the Forrester family’s trusty pilot.
You can catch him sharing scenes with Muriel Hehir’s character Daphne on Monday, May 26th.

Arnold last popped up as Deuce in July and September of 2024, so it’s a fun comeback for the former Roseanne star.

And finally, over at General Hospital, they’ve just snagged one of Y&R’s finest actors — Rory Gibson, who played Noah Newman from 2021 to 2023.

If you haven’t heard yet, Gibson officially joined the cast of General Hospital as the new Michael Corinthos, taking over from Chad Duell, who made his exit from the show back in January.

In fact, Gibson has already made his grand entrance last week on May 23rd, Friday’s episode.
So, this week, get ready to see him own the role as Sonny and Laura’s son.

So, who are you the most excited to see this week?
