General Hospital spoilers say that Michael Corinthos will soon be back in this fictional town of Port Charles, but he’s going to have an entirely new face.

That’s because actor Chad Duell won’t be coming back to reprise his role. As a result, the producers have been forced to find a replacement actor in order to bring back the character on the canvas.

According to the latest reports, an actor has been found, but it’s not who you might be thinking of. There was a lot of speculation that Robert Adamson would be returning to Port Charles, but he quickly set the record straight on those rumors in a now-deleted tweet.

He said, “@GeneralHospital Thanks for having me in to read for the recast of Michael. Covered the role not once, not twice, but three times without notice or time to physically prepare. But I don’t even get an opportunity to read.”

As many GH fans can remember, Robert did play Michael on a temporary basis a few times several years ago.

That’s why a lot of people think that it would be a good idea. They also think that Robert should come back and be given a contract as the new Michael Corinthos as he would be more than just a perfect fit.

It’s almost evident that Michael Corinthos will come back sooner rather than later. After all, he is expecting a baby with Sasha and he can’t be in the burn unit in Germany forever.

However, Chad, who was the last actor to play Michael, has made it clear that he doesn’t want to come  back to the show. He’s moved on but the only problem is, fans of the show haven’t. They still want her back.

At this point though, it’s all just speculation. So far the producers of the soap have not made any comments about the matter, nor have they confirmed or denied the rumors that Robert will be coming back.

Then again, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
