Hayley Erin Fired From Y&R, Big Loss!
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Clare Newman (Haley Erin) is starting to see Kyle Abbott (Michael Mueller) in a very different light—and it’s not exactly flattering.
It’s becoming more obvious by the day that Clare is losing interest in Kyle, especially as his charm begins to wear thin.
She once believed he was above petty scheming, but his recent behavior—particularly his efforts to undermine Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)—is giving her second thoughts.
During the Friday, May 23 episode, Clare was clearly unimpressed with Kyle’s deceptive actions.
She didn’t hold back, urging him to take the high road and become a better version of himself.
But despite her encouragement, Kyle’s true nature is starting to slip through—and it’s not pretty.
To put it bluntly, Kyle is acting like the entitled heir he’s always been accused of being.
If not for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Kyle wouldn’t hold the status he enjoys now—and Clare seems increasingly aware of that reality.
He’s trying to play the part of a major player in the cosmetics industry, but Clare sees right through the act.
Her instincts told her from the start that getting entangled with Audra for any reason was a mistake, and now that warning is proving to be spot-on.
Clare’s body language has been speaking volumes lately.
Her expressions during scenes with Kyle—especially that breakfast moment filled with visible disgust—are clear signs she’s beginning to see who he truly is.
During the May 23 episode, Kyle laid out a plan to trap Audra.
While on the May 26 episode, he chose drinks with Audra over a quiet dinner with Clare.
That was another red flag, and Clare’s disappointed reaction said it all.
It’s becoming increasingly clear where her heart is leaning.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, May 28, Kyle and Clare are set to launch a new plan.
Audra recently suggested a publicity showdown between her company and Jabot, and Kyle didn’t immediately shut it down.
Now the question is: will he take the bait?
And if he does, will Clare go along with it—or try to outmaneuver Audra in her own way?
Depending on how things unfold, this new scheme could backfire—not just on Kyle, but on their entire relationship.
Clare might be reaching a breaking point, and Kyle’s antics could destroy what little remains of their romance.
At this rate, Audra won’t even need to lift a finger to ruin Kyle’s image as a good boyfriend—he’s doing that all on his own.
Will Clare walk away for good?
