Heartbreaking News! General Hospital Star Tristan Rogers’ Shocking Update Leaves Fans in Tears!
Please join us in congratulating Tristan Rogers, who received a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. A ceremony was held on November 18th in front of 849 North Palm Canyon Drive to make the presentation.
“This honor on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars is truly special to me,” Rogers said in a statement. “It represents not only my journey in entertainment but also my strong connection to this remarkable community, as Palm Springs has been my adopted home for many years.”
Born in Melbourne, Australia, Rogers became a bona fide soap star when he joined the cast of General Hospital in 1980 to play Robert Scorpio. During his career, he has also played Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless, brought Robert over to GH’s prime-time spin-off Night Shift, and appeared on the streaming soaps Studio City and The Bay.
In addition to his soap roles, Rogers’ extensive career includes appearances on television series like Homicide, The Love Boat, Hotel, and Walker, Texas Ranger. He has also done voice work for animated series and video games, playing Jake in Disney’s The Rescuers Down Under.
Rogers was joined by his family at the ceremony, including his wife Teresa, son Kale, and daughter Sarah. A photo collage congratulated the actor on his incredible career that has spanned decades.
Palm Springs Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein and Chamber of Commerce CEO Nona Watson were on hand to help present Rogers with his star. Former General Hospital co-star Judith Chapman (Gloria) was there to speak and congratulate her friend on his achievement.
Of course, Rogers himself took to the podium to say a few words to the family, friends, and fans who had gathered to attend.
