In any case, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) seems to think the key to getting Carter to reverse the LLC is by finding him a new love interest.
While Hope does whisper in Carter’s ear, I do think the situation is a tad more complicated than Steffy thinks.

When the takeover first happened, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) immediately called Justin.
Now, Justin did take the paperwork to confer with a colleague. However, Justin says that Carter covered all his bases, and this contract is ironclad.

Plus, Justin mainly does work for Ridge’s rival, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Has Ridge forgotten that Justin tried to take over Bill’s company, Spencer Publications?
During that storyline, Justin was going to allow Bill and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to go to prison for a crime they didn’t commit.
Justin also held Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in a cage. We’re not sure if Justin should really be trusted with this sort of thing!
Personally, Ridge should have called a big law firm that specializes in these kinds of cases. Justin is a shark, but he’s only one man.
Most companies have teams of lawyers at their disposal. Plus, Justin hasn’t always been ethical or moral in the past.

When Justin first looked at the LLC papers, he almost seemed impressed with Carter.
Justin can usually find a loophole quickly, but he still hasn’t with this case. Maybe there is a reason for that.
