The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show might have all the ingredients for a shocking new whodunit. Last summer, B&B brought some sizzling drama when they kept fans guessing on who eliminated Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers).
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was eventually revealed as the killer in a major twist, which took her from a seemingly sweet character to a dangerous bad girl overnight.
Mystery stories like that are always popular, so could B&B already be gearing up for another one?
Perhaps the hot storyline for summer 2025 could be a whodunit centered around Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park). It’s clear that Poppy’s character is getting thrown under the bus at this point, so all this could be building somewhere.
Luna and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) trash Poppy constantly for being an unstable druggie mom who paraded men around her daughter constantly.
Of course, Poppy has always been portrayed as a bit of a gold digger as well thanks to Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) past complaints about her.
Although Li wants to reconnect as sisters, that plan will go right out the window once she finds out Poppy slept with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) back when he was starting college.
Despite Poppy’s latest paternity denial, there’s a good chance she’s lying and that the DNA results will indeed prove Finn is Luna’s biological father.
This buried secret is going to provoke the fury of Luna, Bill, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Li, Jack Finnegan (Ted King), Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) and more.
Poppy will face backlash for sitting on this secret for so long – and for sleeping with Finn at all since he was her virgin adoptive nephew.
The show doesn’t seem to care how bad Poppy looks in all this.
Are the writers trying to establish some anger toward Poppy all over the canvas and set up some motives for when her corpse is potentially found?
It’d be interesting if Poppy turned up deceased down the road and Luna was the one person who could be ruled out.
Luna is on house arrest with an ankle monitor, so the cops might leave her off the suspect list if Poppy’s found elsewhere.
However, that could be a mistake if Luna is somehow crafty enough to overcome this ankle monitor situation. Luna might even have an accomplice, so that’s something to keep in mind if Poppy ends up deceased.
There’s no guarantee B&B will take the route of killing Poppy off, but it’s a possibility to consider when you think about the kind of writing she’s getting now.
