Days of Our Lives Weekly Predictions: EJ Fights Back, Gwen Faces Danger, and Stephanie’s Jealousy Could Cost Her Alex
Days of Our Lives Weekly Predictions: EJ Fights Back, Gwen Faces Danger, and Stephanie’s Jealousy Could Cost Her Alex
Salem could be heading toward another explosive week on Days of Our Lives, with EJ DiMera fighting to escape serious accusations, Gwen Rizczech finding herself caught between the police and one of Salem’s most powerful families, and Stephanie Johnson potentially creating even more trouble in her relationship with Alex Kiriakis.
Meanwhile, Leo Stark may finally break free from Dimitri von Leuschner, while Javi Hernandez’s relationship with Gabi’s associate Gus could collapse just as Leo returns to Salem.
Based on the latest official Days of Our Lives spoilers, here are five major predictions about what may happen next.
JJ May Offer to Protect Gwen
The first prediction centers on JJ Deveraux and Gwen Rizczech.
Monday’s spoilers have Rafe Hernandez trying to persuade Gwen to cooperate while Jada Hunter questions her at the Salem Police Department.
Then on Tuesday, JJ reaches out to Gwen.
That timing may not be accidental.
Rafe brought Gwen back from Alamania because investigators want her testimony against EJ. The problem is that Gwen may be terrified of what could happen if she turns against him.
Gwen previously prepared a type of dead-man-switch confession in which she pointed the finger at EJ, suggesting she was already worried about her own safety.
Now that she is physically back in Salem, those fears may intensify.
This could also become an opportunity for JJ and Gwen to repair their difficult family relationship.
Jack Deveraux recently attempted to rebuild his bond with Gwen despite everything that happened in the past. Jack has never approved of many of Gwen’s actions, but he still views her as his daughter and has shown that he wants some kind of reconciliation.
JJ may decide to follow his father’s example.
Gwen is also one of the only siblings JJ has left, which could make him reconsider their strained history.
Although JJ is no longer a police officer, he still has law-enforcement training.
He left the force after hesitating during a dangerous situation that resulted in Shawn Brady being shot, but those investigative and protective instincts have not simply disappeared.
JJ may tell Gwen that if she agrees to cooperate with Jada and Rafe, he will help watch her back.
The question is whether Gwen will trust him.
Their history is complicated, especially because of everything surrounding Abigail.
However, facing a dangerous enemy like EJ could finally push JJ and Gwen toward a genuine sibling reconciliation.
Stephanie’s Jealousy Over Joy May Push Alex Too Far
The second prediction involves Stephanie Johnson, Alex Kiriakis, and Joy Wesley.
Thursday’s spoilers reveal that Stephanie turns to Chad DiMera while Alex stands by Joy.
The circumstances surrounding that moment could become extremely emotional.
In the weekly promo, Kayla Johnson gives Joy frightening medical news and warns her about the possibility of paralysis.
Joy is understandably devastated.
Alex is there when she receives the news and comforts her at the hospital.
Stephanie then sees them together.
That could be a disaster waiting to happen.
Stephanie already has serious concerns about Joy’s place in Alex’s life, especially because of Kelsey.
Joy’s demand that Stephanie stay away from Kelsey until she is 18 was extremely harsh, but Stephanie has also made the situation worse through her own confrontational behavior.
Instead of remaining calm, Stephanie has repeatedly challenged Joy.
Now Joy may be facing major surgery and the possibility that her condition could permanently change her life.
Alex will naturally want to support the mother of his child.
If Stephanie sees Alex hugging Joy and immediately assumes there is something romantic happening, Alex may finally lose patience with her.
This would be especially understandable given the circumstances.
Joy could be terrified that she may not be able to live the kind of life she expected with her daughter.
Alex knows that any medical crisis affecting Joy also affects Kelsey.
If Stephanie makes the moment about jealousy, Alex may see it as insensitive.
Interestingly, Stephanie turns to her former boyfriend Chad on the same day.
That could create an ironic situation in which Stephanie becomes upset about Alex comforting Joy while she herself seeks emotional support from an ex.
If Stephanie continues accusing Alex of having inappropriate feelings for Joy, their relationship could reach a breaking point.
Dimitri May Let Leo Go — But Follow Him Back to Salem
The third prediction involves Dimitri and Leo Stark.
Monday’s spoilers indicate that Javi learns Leo’s fate.
Then on Wednesday, Leo delivers a painful truth to Dimitri.
Leo essentially tells him that if Dimitri truly loves him, he must let him go.
Dimitri may initially resist.
He appears convinced that if he simply gets more time alone with Leo, he can somehow rekindle what they once had.
But Leo is no longer looking for what Dimitri is offering.
Material comfort, luxury, and grand gestures cannot recreate the emotional connection Leo now wants.
Leo’s heart appears to belong to Javi.
By Thursday, Leo is back and reunites with Gwen.
That strongly suggests he gets out of Alamania one way or another.
Dimitri may finally agree to release him.
But that does not necessarily mean Dimitri will disappear from Leo’s life.
Dimitri has never been particularly good at accepting defeat.
He may let Leo return to Salem while secretly deciding to follow him.
If so, Dimitri could continue pursuing Leo while also targeting Gwen over the circumstances surrounding his kidnapping.
And that could create another dangerous complication.
If Dimitri realizes that Javi is the reason Leo refuses to return to him, Javi could become his next target.
Leo loves Javi.
Javi loves Leo.
Dimitri may understand that eliminating that relationship is the only way he has any chance of winning Leo back.
That would put all three men in the middle of a volatile triangle.
EJ May Beat Gwen’s Accusations
The fourth prediction could be bad news for anyone hoping to see EJ DiMera finally pay for his actions.
Monday’s spoilers once again place Gwen with Rafe and Jada at the Salem Police Department.
Tuesday brings JJ’s attempt to reach out to Gwen.
Then Friday has Jada questioning EJ.
That sounds serious, but building an actual criminal case against EJ may be much harder than questioning him.
EJ is not only wealthy and powerful—he is also an experienced lawyer.
He knows how investigations work.
He knows how evidence can be challenged.
And he knows exactly how to create reasonable doubt.
At the moment, much of the case may depend on Gwen’s testimony.
If investigators do not have physical evidence supporting her story, EJ could simply deny everything.
That would turn the case into Gwen’s word against EJ’s.
The DiMera family also has extraordinary resources, influence, and connections throughout Salem.
Even if Jada and Rafe believe Gwen, proving the accusations in court could be another matter entirely.
There is also the problem of illegally obtained evidence.
A letter taken from Melinda Trask’s computer system may not be usable if investigators cannot establish a legitimate chain of custody or show that it was obtained legally.
That could seriously weaken the prosecution.
Belle Black would certainly have personal reasons to want EJ held accountable, but her complicated history with him could also create ethical problems and potentially force her to step away from the case.
EJ also has Rita firmly in his corner.
And Salem has already established that certain drugs can be used to interfere with a person’s memory.
If EJ becomes desperate enough, Gwen could find herself in even greater danger before she ever gets the chance to testify.
For now, Gwen may believe she is about to bring EJ down.
Instead, EJ could survive the investigation while Gwen becomes the one facing devastating consequences.
Javi May Dump Gus Just as Leo Returns
The fifth prediction involves Javi, Gus, and Leo.
Monday’s spoilers have Javi discovering new information about Leo.
Wednesday brings Leo’s emotional confrontation with Dimitri.
Then on Thursday, Gus confronts Javi—the same day Leo returns.
That timing strongly suggests Javi’s current relationship may be about to collapse.
Javi has already shown signs that he still loves Leo.
His connection with Gus appears to have started during a vulnerable period after his breakup with Leo and while Javi was dealing with stress surrounding his father’s heart surgery.
That makes Gus look increasingly like a rebound relationship rather than Javi’s long-term future.
There is also a major incompatibility between them.
Javi wants children.
Gus apparently does not.
That is not a small disagreement.
It is a fundamental difference in what they want from life.
Leo, on the other hand, appears to share Javi’s desire for a family.
That makes Leo and Javi far more compatible if they can repair the emotional damage between them.
There are also lingering questions about whether Gus could be connected to the copycat Gabi Chic handbag storyline.
If something suspicious about Gus is exposed, it could give Javi another reason to walk away.
The confrontation between Javi and Gus may therefore end with a breakup.
And if that happens on the same day Leo arrives back in Salem, the timing could not be more dramatic.
Javi could suddenly become single at exactly the moment the man he still loves returns.
Salem Is Heading Toward Another Explosive Week
The coming episodes of Days of Our Lives could dramatically reshape several relationships.
JJ may finally put aside his resentment and protect Gwen as she considers cooperating against EJ.
Stephanie’s jealousy could push Alex away at the exact moment Joy needs his support most.
Dimitri may reluctantly free Leo but refuse to truly give up on him.
EJ could use his legal knowledge, wealth, and influence to survive Gwen’s accusations.
And Javi’s relationship with Gus may end just in time for Leo to come back into his life.
Of all these stories, the biggest question may be whether Gwen can survive turning against EJ.
She may believe she is helping Salem finally bring a DiMera down—but if the evidence against EJ is not strong enough, Gwen could discover that accusing him was the most dangerous decision she has ever made.
