Days of Our Lives spoilers for August 10–21 tease two emotional weeks in Salem, with Leo Stark prepared to make a shocking sacrifice, Theo Carver reaching his breaking point, Chanel Dupree facing a dangerous delivery, and the truth about Lexie threatening to tear several families apart.
The drama begins on Monday, August 10, when Cat questions EJ DiMera. Since Cat already knows EJ was not responsible for Gwen’s disappearance, her questions may instead involve Lexie.
EJ has been secretly caring for his sister inside the DiMera mansion, and the situation is becoming increasingly difficult to hide. If EJ finally admits what is happening, Cat may understand why he has been so desperate to keep the truth contained.
At the same time, Stephanie Johnson finds herself facing a painful personal decision.
Alex Kiriakis intends to temporarily stay at the pub so he can take care of Kelsey, since the ongoing conflict involving Joy has made things complicated at the apartment. Stephanie refuses to simply let Alex sacrifice everything, which could lead her to temporarily move in with Steve and Kayla.
She also turns to Jada for advice, while Chanel offers Alex her own opinion about the situation. Given Chanel’s feelings toward Joy, she is unlikely to hold back.
Leo Faces Dimitri’s Dangerous Obsession
On Tuesday, August 11, Dimitri von Leuschner becomes even more determined to win Leo back.
His obsession has reached a dangerous level, and he reportedly threatens both Leo and Gwen, making it clear that he intends to control the situation.
But Dimitri gets an unexpected surprise when Rafe appears.
Leo and Gwen are stunned to see him, and his arrival could completely change their chances of escaping Dimitri’s grip.
The biggest twist may come when Leo makes Dimitri an extraordinary offer.
Leo could potentially agree to remain behind with Dimitri if Gwen is allowed to leave safely. It would be a deeply selfless move, especially if Leo believes sacrificing his own freedom is the only way to protect her.
Rafe, however, may have another plan. Because he has limited authority outside Salem, he may try to convince Gwen to cooperate by offering her immunity in exchange for testimony against EJ.
Theo Searches for Lexie
Theo is already emotionally overwhelmed by Lexie’s mysterious disappearance.
After finally having his mother back in his life, he now fears that she has vanished again.
By Thursday, August 13, Abe and Theo become increasingly worried. Abe may eventually realize that Lexie never traveled to South Africa as expected, raising terrifying questions about where she actually is.
The answers lead directly back to the DiMera mansion.
On Friday, Theo reaches his breaking point when Rita tries to keep him away from the underground tunnels.
“If you don’t get out of the way, I will make you get out of the way,” Theo warns her.
Chad follows Theo into the tunnels, and what they discover is devastating.
Theo reportedly finds Lexie hidden beneath the mansion and calls out for his mother in shock.
The discovery could finally expose everything EJ has been hiding.
Chad Demands the Truth
The fallout continues into the week of August 17–21.
Lexie may be moved from the mansion to the hospital, where her loved ones are forced to face the possibility that her condition is terminal.
Chad is furious when he realizes that Cat knew more than she admitted.
“You knew about all this and you did nothing,” Chad reportedly confronts her.
Cat tries to explain that the situation was more complicated than it appeared, but Chad may struggle to forgive the secrecy.
Theo also starts demanding answers from Johnny.
He wants to know what else Johnny has been hiding, raising the possibility that more DiMera secrets are about to explode.
Chanel’s Pregnancy Takes a Dangerous Turn
Meanwhile, Chanel’s pregnancy reaches a frightening turning point.
She believes she may be going into labor, but the situation quickly becomes much more serious.
