Days of Our Lives Predictions: Stephanie Walks Out, Xander Goes Dark Again and Leo Makes a Stunning Sacrifice

Days of Our Lives Predictions: Stephanie Walks Out, Xander Goes Dark Again and Leo Makes a Stunning Sacrifice

Salem could be heading into one of its most chaotic weeks yet on Days of Our Lives.

Based on the latest spoilers, several major relationships are approaching dangerous breaking points. Stephanie Johnson may make a heartbreaking decision involving Alex Kiriakis, Xander Kiriakis could return to his criminal past in a desperate attempt to save Titan, and Leo Stark may put everything on the line to rescue Gwen.

Meanwhile, Chanel faces a frightening medical crisis as she goes into labor, while Philip considers an enormous financial gamble that could either save the Kiriakis empire or destroy what remains of it.

Here are five major predictions for what may happen next.

Leo Sacrifices Himself to Save Gwen

Leo could be preparing to make one of the biggest sacrifices of his life.

Upcoming spoilers reveal that Leo makes Dimitri a shocking offer, while Dimitri later refuses to give up on Leo.

The situation becomes even more complicated when Rafe arrives and offers Gwen a potential way out.

Dimitri kidnapped Gwen as revenge for what she previously did to him, but Gwen was never his only target. Dimitri has made it increasingly clear that Leo is the person he truly wants.

That puts Leo in an impossible position.

The promo shows Dimitri threatening that nobody will ever find them, only for Rafe to suddenly appear and ruin that assumption.

Leo then appears ready to negotiate.

His offer could be simple but devastating: Let Gwen leave with Rafe, and Leo will remain behind with Dimitri.

It would make sense emotionally. Leo came there to rescue Gwen, and despite everything that has happened between them, he may refuse to abandon her now.

The question is whether Leo would actually honor the deal.

His feelings for Dimitri belong to the past, while Javi appears to be the person Leo truly loves now.

If Javi eventually tracks Leo down, Dimitri could discover that forcing someone to stay is very different from winning their heart.

Chanel’s Labor Turns Into a Medical Emergency

Chanel and Johnny’s baby storyline may soon become terrifying.

The upcoming promo suggests Chanel realizes she could be going into labor. Later scenes show her surrounded by Kayla, Paulina and Lani as the situation becomes increasingly serious.

Johnny reportedly announces that Chanel is bleeding.

Kayla then orders everyone out as Chanel admits that she is scared.

Those are not encouraging signs.

Chanel’s pregnancy has already carried significant risks because of her medical history and cancer treatment. Although she has made it well into the pregnancy, the danger has never completely disappeared.

This week may bring the crisis everyone has feared.

Chanel could require emergency surgery or an urgent delivery, leaving Johnny facing the possibility of losing either his wife, their baby, or both.

The emotional stakes could be enormous.

Hopefully, the storyline ends with Chanel and the child surviving, allowing Johnny and Chanel to eventually leave Salem together as a family rather than through another devastating tragedy.

But before that happens, viewers may be in for some brutally emotional scenes.

Stephanie Moves Out on Alex

Stephanie and Alex’s marriage is reaching a dangerous point.

Alex suggests temporarily moving into a room above the pub, but Stephanie immediately rejects that idea.

Her response may not mean she wants Alex to stay.

Instead, Stephanie could decide that she will be the one to leave.

The conflict centers largely on Joy and baby Kelsey.

Joy was recently rushed to the hospital after suffering arm pain, and doctors discovered that she has spinal stenosis.

Unfortunately, Stephanie had already suggested that Joy might be exaggerating or even inventing another medical emergency.

That accusation looks particularly bad now that Joy’s condition has been confirmed as serious.

Alex has also respected Joy’s wishes regarding Kelsey and appears determined to support her during recovery.

That means Alex may need to care for the baby while Joy remains hospitalized.

Stephanie understands exactly what that could mean.

Joy clearly wants Alex involved in Kelsey’s life, and Stephanie fears that the situation could pull the three of them closer together.

At the same time, Stephanie’s jealousy and impulsive actions have repeatedly made matters worse.

Instead of forcing Alex to care for Kelsey in a tiny room above the pub, Stephanie might temporarily move out of their home.

She could frame it as a gesture of goodwill rather than a separation.

But in Salem, temporary distance between a married couple rarely stays uncomplicated for long.

Xander Returns to Crime to Save Titan

Xander may be about to prove that the old Xander Kiriakis is never completely gone.

Titan is facing disaster after EJ demanded repayment of a massive $200 million loan.

If Xander and Philip cannot find the money by the deadline, the consequences could be catastrophic.

Titan could be lost.

The Kiriakis mansion could be at risk.

And everything Victor spent decades building could disappear.

For Xander, this is personal.

He sees Titan as part of Victor’s legacy and something that should someday belong to Victoria’s generation.

Losing it would feel like failing both his father and his daughter.

That desperation may push Xander somewhere very dark.

Spoilers indicate that Xander makes a drastic decision.

And there is one obvious possibility: He returns to the criminal world.

Longtime viewers remember that Xander was hardly an innocent businessman when he first arrived in Salem. He had dangerous international connections and a history involving illegal deals.

If legitimate financing cannot save Titan, Xander may start thinking illegitimately.

Could he contact people from his old criminal network?

Could diamonds, smuggling or another underground operation provide the money Titan desperately needs?

It would be an enormous risk.

But Xander may decide that protecting Victor’s empire is worth going back to prison.

Sarah previously hated his criminal behavior, but with their relationship already shattered and Sarah now involved with Brady, Xander may feel that he has much less left to lose.

That is exactly what could make him dangerous again.

Philip and Gabi Make a Huge Gamble

Xander may not be the only Kiriakis willing to take enormous risks.

Philip is equally terrified of losing Titan.

And he knows he shares responsibility for the crisis.

His past schemes helped create the vulnerability that allowed enemies to gain leverage over the company.

Now he may turn to Gabi for help.

Spoilers reveal that Philip presents Gabi with a risky proposal.

Gabi has already suggested using some of her inheritance and investments to help rescue Titan, although both Philip and Xander initially dismissed traditional investments because they would take too long.

Titan does not need steady growth.

It needs an enormous amount of money almost immediately.

That means Philip may be considering something far more aggressive.

His recent interest in sports betting could be a clue, although a normal wager would obviously never be enough to solve a $200 million problem.

Instead, Philip may propose some type of extremely high-risk financial play using Gabi’s money as the initial stake.

If they win, Titan survives.

If they lose, Gabi could lose a fortune and Titan may still collapse.

That kind of gamble would perfectly capture how desperate the Kiriakis family has become.

Salem Is About to Reach a Breaking Point

Almost every major storyline this week revolves around desperation.

Leo may sacrifice his freedom to save Gwen.

Stephanie may sacrifice her home to give Alex space.

Johnny could find himself fighting to save Chanel and their baby.

Xander may sacrifice the better man he has struggled to become in order to protect Victor’s legacy.

And Philip and Gabi could risk millions on one desperate attempt to save Titan.

The biggest question may be Xander.

For years, he has tried to prove that he is capable of becoming something more than the violent, ruthless criminal Salem once knew.

But when Titan, Victor’s legacy and Victoria’s future are all threatened at once, Xander may decide that being a good man matters less than winning.

And if he crosses that line again, getting the old Xander back may be easier than anyone realizes.
