In Nice, an unknown assailant dons gloves, grabs a knife, and lurks in the shadows near Damian and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). After drinking what appears to have been drugged alcohol, Damian is left vulnerable. In that weakened state, it becomes horrifyingly easy for the perpetrator to strike.
Despite quickly becoming a dynamic presence on the canvas, Damian does not survive the brutal stabbing.
And just like that, a promising new chapter is cut tragically short.

Now the responsibility may fall to Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd), who could find himself launching a murder investigation outside his jurisdiction.
