Time is definitely running out for Lexie (Nikk Crawford), so her sharing her secret with Marlena (Deidre Hall, one of our picks for Daytime Emmy nomination) is a must-see moment. Lexie shocking Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) makes us wonder if she also comes clean with her sister, which would honestly help Kristen in her quest to destroy EJ (Dan Feuerriegel).
We are very intrigued by the growing friendships between Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien). These two women have a lot in common, including being outcasts in town on more than one occasion.
The walls are yet again closing in on EJ in more ways than one. Along with Lexie’s secret coming out, Johnny (Carson Boatman) suspects his father’s Coriseal cover-up could have caused Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) cancer. Johnny could blow up the Coriseal situation for EJ, and we are curious to see if that is the bad news EJ receives.
Marlena being in demand has us excited. We are thrilled to see what has Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) leaning on Marlena, as well as what Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote) does this time that worries the doctor.
The fallout of Stephanie (Abigail Klein) ignoring Joy’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) calls to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is one to watch. Alex isn’t going to be happy when he finds out what his wife did, especially since Joy was in a car accident with his daughter. However, it’s Joy, so that the whole thing could have been manufactured, and Stephanie could have been right to ignore her.
Last but not least, we are invested in Chad (Conner Floyd) and Belle (Martha Madison) uncovering the meaning behind Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) chessboard. Any time Stefano is involved, it means trouble and soapy goodness, especially when it’s from beyond the grave.
