General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Steve Burton’s GH return is right around the corner. The unofficial word is that Jason reappears on July 13th. Interestingly, the 13th of July marks General Hospital’s 16,000th episode. Earlier this year, Burton announced that he’d be taking a break from General Hospital for personal reasons. Mainly, Steve revealed that he’d be taking time to live life with his family. Steve Burton’s hiatus and long awaited return have sparked conversation among fans for months. Now the time has finally come, and Jason Morgan returns to Port Charles.
On a recent episode of Stone Cold and the Jackal, Burton and Bradford Anderson discuss Jason’s return from WSB lockdown in Jakarta, Indonesia. Steve warns GH fans to “get ready” for this storyline because it’s not going to appeal to all. Evidently, Jason Morgan has changed- fundamentally. The arrest and imprisonment has changed him, and the Jason Morgan we once knew isn’t quite the same.
