General Hospital Speculation: Who Should Be Willow’s Next Love Interest After Her Divorce From Drew?

Willow Tate’s marriage to Drew Cain appears to be nearing its final collapse, but the end of one disastrous relationship may only open the door to another complicated romance on General Hospital.

After months of manipulation, violence and betrayal, Willow’s immediate priority will likely be rebuilding her relationship with her children. However, Port Charles rarely allows anyone to remain single for long. Once the legal battle with Drew settles and the latest schemes against her are exposed, Willow may begin searching for love again.

The question is simple: who would be willing to enter her increasingly dangerous world?

Willow and Drew’s Marriage Ends in Chaos

Drew’s return to the house brings their conflict to a frightening new level.

After Nina pushed his wheelchair into the Quartermaine lake, Drew manages to survive and confront Willow while soaked, furious and finally back on his feet. His rage is understandable considering everything he has endured.

Willow previously shot Drew in the back and later injected him with a paralytic, leaving him trapped inside his own body. During that period, he was forced to listen helplessly as those around him plotted, argued and threatened his life.

Drew now wants revenge, but blackmail involving Brennan may prevent him from reporting Willow and Nina to the police. That does not mean he will stop trying to destroy Willow through other methods.

Meanwhile, Michael’s girlfriend, Justinda Bracken, reportedly develops another scheme involving pills. Willow may face yet another attempt to discredit or trap her before she can truly move forward.

Could Willow Reunite With Michael?

Michael Corinthos remains the most obvious romantic possibility.

He and Willow share children, and their family history includes genuine affection despite the betrayal that ended their marriage. Their children would likely benefit from having both parents emotionally present and working together.

However, Michael has not forgotten that Willow cheated with Drew and ultimately chose Drew over him.

A reconciliation would require Willow to admit the damage she caused and ask Michael for another chance. Michael might consider it for the sake of their children—or because reuniting with Willow would infuriate Drew.

Still, many viewers would struggle to accept the pairing again.

Tristan is handsome, successful and unfamiliar with most of Willow’s personal history. He may meet her at the hospital without immediately knowing about the shootings, paralytic drugs, affairs and family warfare surrounding her.

That lack of knowledge could make him vulnerable to Willow’s charm.

However, Tristan is not necessarily as innocent as he appears. His connection to the WSB remains unclear. Although he denied being placed at the hospital to watch Britt, his confrontation with Jack suggested that he may be involved in something more dangerous.

A romance between Willow and Tristan could therefore become a collision between two people hiding major secrets.

Willow might believe she has found a stable, respectable man, only to discover that Tristan’s life is filled with espionage and manipulation.

Could Chase’s Marriage Be Put at Risk?

Harrison Chase is another former husband who continues to appear in Willow’s orbit.

Chase repeatedly defends Willow, even when the evidence against her is overwhelming. He remains convinced that she is fundamentally a good person, while Brook Lynn has become increasingly suspicious of Willow’s influence over him.

At present, Chase appears committed to Brook Lynn and their family. The couple recently completed the adoption paperwork for Phoebe, giving him even more reason to protect his marriage.

However, the reported pill scheme could create an unexpected disaster.
