General Hospital Weekly Predictions: Carly Pushes Hudson, Brennan Targets Drew, and Curtis Faces a Nightmare in Pentonville
General Hospital Weekly Predictions: Carly Pushes Hudson, Brennan Targets Drew, and Curtis Faces a Nightmare in Pentonville
Big developments could be ahead on General Hospital, with Carly Spencer refusing to take no for an answer, Jack Brennan potentially using blackmail to get his way, Curtis Ashford facing a dangerous new reality in prison, and Hudson possibly discovering the truth about baby Phoebe.
Based on the latest official spoilers, several storylines appear ready to collide in unexpected ways. Here are five major predictions for what could happen next in Port Charles.
Carly Pushes Hudson to Get Josslyn Out of the WSB
The first prediction centers on Carly Spencer, Hudson, and Josslyn Jacks.
Monday’s spoilers reveal that Carly enlists a new ally, and Hudson is seen at Carly’s house discussing Josslyn’s future. Hudson apparently believes he has reached a dead end when it comes to convincing Joss to take control of Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
Carly, however, is unlikely to accept that answer.
She wants Josslyn out of the WSB more than almost anything, especially because she believes her daughter is constantly being placed in danger.
Hudson has already revealed that Josslyn has been appointed CEO of Jasper Jacks Enterprises, giving her a possible escape route from her life as a WSB agent. The problem is that Josslyn doesn’t seem interested in abandoning her current work.
That may be where Carly steps in.
Carly has never been known for backing away once she decides what is best for someone she loves. If she believes running Jax’s company is the only way to keep Joss safe, she could pressure Hudson to do whatever is necessary to convince her.
Hudson may be told to charm Josslyn, tempt her with the power and freedom that come with controlling the company, or even offer her incentives she cannot easily refuse.
Carly could even offer Hudson something in return if he succeeds.
Meanwhile, Josslyn is also expected to turn to Michael Corinthos for help dealing with the CEO situation. Michael agrees to help, but apparently wants something from his sister in exchange.
By Thursday, Carly is set to make an important realization, while Josslyn and Michael also face off with Hudson at the Quartermaine estate.
All of this suggests Carly’s campaign to remove Joss from the WSB is only beginning.
Hudson May Discover Baby Phoebe Is His Daughter
The second prediction could completely change Hudson’s life.
Tuesday’s spoilers indicate that Josslyn inadvertently reveals too much, and that mistake could lead Hudson directly to the truth about baby Phoebe.
Spoiler photos show Chase, Brook Lynn, and Phoebe spending time near the Quartermaine docks. Hudson, Josslyn, and Michael are also expected to be in the same area during the week.
Hudson may initially be there to discuss Jasper Jacks Enterprises, but seeing Phoebe could trigger something much bigger.
If Josslyn casually mentions that Phoebe was adopted, Hudson may become curious.
He could ask how old the baby is, when she was born, and what happened to her biological mother.
That’s where the timeline becomes extremely dangerous.
Hudson knew Delilah was pregnant and would likely know approximately when she was supposed to give birth. If Phoebe’s age matches that timeline and Hudson learns that her biological mother died during childbirth, he may quickly start connecting the dots.
There could also be a physical resemblance that catches his attention.
Once Hudson becomes suspicious, he is unlikely to let the matter go.
He has already demonstrated how desperately he wanted the baby, particularly through his confrontation with Ethan. If Hudson realizes that Ethan manipulated the situation and that the original paternity test may have been falsified, he could demand another DNA test.
That would threaten to unravel Phoebe’s entire adoption.
If Hudson is confirmed as her biological father, he may immediately begin fighting to regain custody of his daughter.
And if he learns that Ethan and Ava knew the truth all along, the fallout could be explosive.
Curtis Could Discover Sidwell Is His Pentonville Cellmate
Curtis Ashford’s prison story may become much more dangerous than he expects.
Curtis is preparing to begin serving his sentence at Pentonville, with Martin having arranged a small amount of time before he officially reports to prison.
Curtis faces a 10-year sentence, although parole could potentially become available after two years.
Before leaving, Curtis is expected to spend time with Jordan Ashford, and the emotional goodbye may only be the beginning of his problems.
That’s because Sidwell is already in Pentonville.
The storyline appears to be positioning Sidwell to receive a new cellmate from Port Charles, and Curtis is the most obvious candidate.
Imagine Curtis arriving at Pentonville, changing into prison clothes, being escorted down the cell block, and discovering that the man waiting inside his cell is Sidwell.
It would be the last person Curtis wants to see.
Sidwell is unlikely to be powerless simply because he is behind bars. A man with his connections may already have inmates or guards willing to do favors for him.
That could make Curtis particularly vulnerable.
Sidwell also has reasons to be furious with Jordan.
Jordan admitted that she had been spying on him and working against him. She even taunted Sidwell after making her intentions clear.
Sidwell may decide that hurting Curtis is the perfect way to punish Jordan.
Curtis will undoubtedly try to remain strong, but sharing a cell with Sidwell could turn his prison sentence into a far more dangerous ordeal.
Jason May Replace Curtis at Aurora
With Curtis heading to prison, there is also the question of what happens to Aurora Media.
Jason Morgan may soon provide the answer.
Tuesday’s spoilers say Jason gives Britt Westbourne shocking news while the two are together in their softball uniforms.
That news could involve Jason’s decision to finally leave the mob behind.
By Wednesday, Sonny Corinthos reportedly gives Jason his blessing, suggesting Jason may truly be moving into a different phase of his life.
Without his traditional role working for Sonny, Jason will need a legitimate job.
Carly has already encouraged him to reconnect with the Quartermaine side of his family, and Jason’s involvement with the ELQ softball team could be an early clue about where he is headed professionally.
Aurora would make sense.
Since Curtis is going to prison and may be gone for at least two years, Michael could decide Jason is the right person to temporarily take over his responsibilities.
Aurora is connected to ELQ, making Jason’s move into the company even more plausible.
If Michael places Jason in charge, however, one person will almost certainly be furious.
Drew Cain.
Drew helped build Aurora, and he already has deep resentment toward Jason.
Seeing Jason placed in control of a company so closely connected to Drew’s history could feel like the ultimate insult.
Drew may attempt to remove Jason or regain control, but if Michael and the Quartermaine family support Jason, Drew could have very little power to stop it.
That rivalry could become one of the most entertaining corporate battles on the show.
Brennan May Blackmail Drew Into Dropping the Restraining Orders
The final prediction involves Jack Brennan, Drew Cain, Alexis Davis, and Scout.
Friday’s spoilers say Drew offers an olive branch, but the question is whether he does so willingly.
Recently, Brennan confronted Drew after seeing him behave aggressively toward Alexis at the Metro Court.
The conflict revolves around Drew’s efforts to keep Alexis and other members of Sam’s family away from Scout.
Alexis believes Scout needs continued contact with her mother’s family.
Drew appears determined to control the situation.
Brennan, however, may have information that gives him leverage over Drew.
Their recent confrontation felt less like an argument and more like a warning.
If Brennan has damaging information on Drew, he could use it to force Drew into changing his behavior.
Alexis may also become involved.
Brennan wants information concerning Jasper Jacks Enterprises, especially because he is trying to help manage the complicated situation surrounding Josslyn.
Alexis may possess information he wants.
That could create an exchange.
Alexis may not need Brennan to reveal exactly what he has on Drew. She only needs to know that Brennan has enough leverage to force Drew to cooperate.
Her request could be simple: make Drew drop the restraining orders and allow Sam’s family to see Scout again.
If Drew suddenly offers an olive branch later in the week, it may not be because he has had a genuine change of heart.
He may simply have no choice.
Brennan could make it clear that Drew either backs down or faces the release of damaging information.
That would explain why Drew suddenly becomes more cooperative.
Of course, Drew would almost certainly begin looking for a way to neutralize Brennan’s leverage.
Until then, Brennan may have him exactly where he wants him.
Major Trouble Is Building Across Port Charles
These storylines could create major consequences across General Hospital.
Carly’s determination to protect Josslyn may push Hudson deeper into her daughter’s life. Hudson’s encounter with baby Phoebe could expose a devastating secret. Curtis may discover that prison is even more dangerous than expected when Sidwell becomes his cellmate.
At the same time, Jason may finally begin building a life outside Sonny’s organization, possibly taking control of Aurora and infuriating Drew.
And Drew’s problems may only grow worse if Brennan uses blackmail to force him to back away from Alexis and Scout.
One thing seems certain: Port Charles is heading into another week filled with secrets, confrontations, and potentially life-changing revelations.
