Young and the Restless Recap July 15: Kyle Turns to Patty for Help as Victor Refuses to Back Down on His Revenge Plans

Victor Argues with Adam and Chelsea at the Newman Ranch

Victor looks at the piano and remembers unveiling the restored ranch to his wife.

His PI calls to say that Patty has been denied bail and his family is visiting Jack.

Outside, Chelsea tells Adam it isn’t normal to have to prepare to talk to your family like he does.

He offers to ask him dad to back off on his own. She won’t let him have all the fun.

They enter and immediately see Victor is unhappy. “Another betrayal,” he grunts.

Chelsea suggests they leave. He orders them to speak.

Adam tells his father he has absolute faith in his instincts. Chelsea blurts out they are there to urge him not to go after Sally’s company.

“I want what’s mine,” he says. Chelsea urges him to keep it where it is. “Why would I not want what is mine?” he asks.

She says that going after Sally just seems like an afterthought. Victor wants everything back.

Chelsea explains that she and Adam want to build something new. Adam agrees with this.

Victor doens’t want the public to think anyone can steal from them. Adam points out no one in the public knows or cares about what happened.

Victor cares anyway. He’s alarmed when they explain that Billy has been offered a position at Chancellor.

He laughs. This means that he won’t have to destroy Cane because Billy will do it for him.

Adam suggests he leave it at that and do the same with Newman Media. Victor decides that Cane and Billy will leave Chancellor ripe for the picking so he can grab it later.

Adam and Chelsea ask him to give them six months to put their plan in motion. He suggests they don’t interfere with each other.

Victor doesn’t give a damn about Sally and thinks his son is acting out of guilt. The only justice Victor is interested in is getting back what’s his.

Nikki Visits Jack at the Hospital

Jack is startled to see Nikki with bandages on her eyes. He jokes she must be trying to one up him. She sticks out her tongue.

He assures her that he is doing fine and will have the pep back in his step soon. The Abbott fills them in on Patty’s arrest and expanding rap sheet.

He asks Nikki what’s happened to her. Victoria hasn’t had caffeine in an hour so she leaves.

Jack asks his friend what’s been going on again. She admits it’s been a long time since she’s been so afraid.

Nikki explains the headaches and the mass behind her eyes. She’s had surgery and has to admit that Victor has been very good throughout.

Jack is glad to hear that but she doubts Victor’s warm and fuzziness will last. They talk about taking things one day at a time but Jack is sure her husband’s resentment of him will never go away.

Nikki knows Victor set everything in motion by bringing Patty back. She’s not sure she can forgive him this time.

Jack assures her that he and Diane are healing and Victor did not win. He adds that she’s tough too and forgiveness can change an ending.

She doesn’t see the point of reading a book if all the chapters are the same. Jack laughs that she’s going to force him to cheer her and Victor on.

Kyle runs into Victoria in the waiting room. They talk about how much their parents don’t like pity.

Victoria is amazed they are still so resilient after all they’ve been through. Their bond has gotten them through so much.

He doubts Victor can be happy about that. It seems like a longshot that her dad will ever get over it.

She’s still hopeful. Her parents needs each other.

They discuss her mom’s current situation and Kyle knows she’s as tough as they come. Victoria thinks her dad made a big mistake by trying to push her mom away.

Kyle wonders if that means she’s willing to admit her father was wrong in what he did to his father.

She threatens to walk out but he apologizes and claims he only wants to understand whether she has regrets.

She’ll admit she wishes she could stop her father from hurting people, but her feelings are between her father and her.

Kyle reminds her about Victor bringing Patty back. No one in her family will hold him accountable. How can they shrug it off?

She suggests that her mom has.

They go to see their parents and Jack takes Nikki’s hand to say he’ll always be there for her. Diane spots them through the window and shakes her head.

She joins them and they chat about the worst being over. Nikki is looking forward to seeing Jack when he’s walking again.

On her way out, she tells Diane how lucky she is to have Jack.

Diane sits with her husband says he’s looking better. They look forward to quiet time together.

She asks about his pain levels and the doctors being careful with medicine. Jack is going stir crazy being there.

He thanks his son for getting Diane home safely. Kyle leaves his parents alone and Jack goads his wife to climb into bed with him.

He’s sure their son is thrilled they are back together. Diane can’t shake something being off about their son. He’s sure their son’s anger will fade and they’ll all be okay.

Victor Walks Out on Nikki at the Ranch

Victoria brings Nikki home. She runs into Adam and Chelsea and they recall that Adam knows what she’s going through.

Once Adam and Chelsea exit, Victor asks his wife and daughter about their day.

Nikki explains the bandages are coming off tomorrow. She guesses he knows that she went to see Jack.

Victor blows up and storms out of the room.

Kyle Visits Patty in the Cells

“You are not the Abbott I was hoping for,” Patty sighs when she sees Kyle. She taunts him.

Kyle demands that she give him the ammo he needs to take Victor down.

Adam and Chelsea Vent at Crimson Lights

Adam and Chelsea talk about how frustrating his father is. They’d leave the ranch but Connor likes it there.

Chelsea admits she wants Sally to have a break, at least while she’s pregnant. There must be a way to make that happen.
