Days of Our Lives Two-Week Spoilers: Holly Turns on EJ, Gwen Vanishes, and Susan Senses Evil
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the two weeks of July 27 through August 7 reveal a growing mystery surrounding Gwen Rizczech’s disappearance, Holly Jonas learning a devastating truth, and Susan Banks returning to Salem with a chilling warning about her son. Meanwhile, Kate Roberts begs Roman Brady for another chance, Philip Kiriakis works to regain Gabi Hernandez’s trust, and Kristen DiMera’s dangerous escape plan takes a shocking turn.
Gwen’s Disappearance Raises Suspicions
The week begins on Monday, July 27, with Rafe Hernandez investigating Gwen’s sudden disappearance.
Leo Stark and Gabi are deeply concerned because Gwen vanished shortly after EJ DiMera learned that he could lose control of the hospital to her. The suspicious timing immediately places EJ high on the list of possible suspects.
Cat Greene may believe she has found the evidence needed to expose the truth. After learning about Gwen’s “dead man’s switch,” Cat secretly takes Gwen’s written confession and brings it to Rafe.
Unfortunately, her actions may damage the investigation rather than help it. Because Cat obtained the document illegally, Rafe may be unable to use it in court or follow leads directly connected to it. Rafe is expected to reprimand Cat for interfering with an official investigation.
Marlena Evans may also warn Cat not to underestimate EJ. Salem residents know that when EJ feels cornered, he can become extremely dangerous.
Leo later asks Rafe for help finding Gwen. When Leo reveals that Gwen’s digital file was mysteriously emptied, Rafe may finally realize how serious the situation has become.
However, EJ may not be the only suspect.
After contacting Dimitri von Leuschner, Leo receives a reply that immediately makes him suspicious. He begins wondering whether Dimitri, the former lover he shares with Gwen, could be responsible for taking her.
Leo may soon travel to Alamania in a desperate attempt to bring his best friend home.
Philip Tries to Win Back Gabi’s Trust
Philip Kiriakis insists that neither he nor Xander Kiriakis is responsible for the counterfeit Gabi Chic products appearing on the market.
Gabi initially refuses to invest in Titan because she believes Philip and Xander may be connected to the fake merchandise. However, Philip appears to convince her that someone else—possibly an employee at DiMera Enterprises—is behind the scheme.
Gabi’s change of heart leaves Philip stunned, and the two may soon find themselves in each other’s arms.
Still, viewers should not assume Philip’s intentions are entirely romantic.
Xander previously encouraged Philip to use Gabi’s feelings for him to secure her investment. Philip is angry, ambitious and capable of manipulating Gabi if he believes it will benefit Titan.
A kiss may be coming, but Gabi could later discover that Philip has been playing her all along.
Another possible suspect in the counterfeit operation is Gabi’s relative, Javi Hernandez’s boyfriend, Gus. If Gus has been stealing Gabi’s designs and selling them to a knockoff company, Leo may be the person who exposes him.
The problem is that Gabi and Javi may refuse to believe Leo. They could accuse him of targeting Gus out of jealousy, allowing the real culprit to continue operating.
Kate Begs Roman for Forgiveness
On Tuesday, July 28, Kate Roberts apologizes to Roman Brady.
Kate appears ready to fight for her marriage after noticing Roman growing closer to Marlena. Whatever happened involving Johnny DiMera and Bonnie Kiriakis may have pushed Roman away, but Kate is not prepared to lose her husband without a fight.
Roman must now decide whether Kate’s apology is sincere—or whether too much damage has already been done.
Elsewhere, Brady Black and Sarah Horton hear a troubling theory from Xander. He believes he has figured out how EJ could have secretly placed the drugs in Holly’s bag.
That discovery may finally prove Holly was telling the truth.
Tate Black and Holly reconcile, and Tate may apologize for doubting her. Their reunion provides Holly with a moment of comfort, but another emotional betrayal is waiting for her.
Holly Learns What EJ Did
Sarah confronts EJ after finding him in Holly’s hospital room again.
She reminds him that she ordered him to stay away, but EJ argues that Holly is an adult and can decide who is allowed to visit her. Holly has also made it clear that she no longer wants Sarah acting as her doctor, creating even more tension between them.
Despite their disagreement, Sarah and Holly eventually have a serious conversation.
Sarah may reveal that EJ planted the drugs in Holly’s belongings to protect himself. If Holly learns that her own stepfather framed her and allowed her to be blamed for something she did not do, their relationship may be destroyed permanently.
Holly is expected to leave the hospital soon, but she may never forgive EJ.
Her anger will not only come from being framed. It will come from realizing that someone she trusted was willing to sacrifice her future to save himself.
Susan Banks Confronts Her Son
Susan Banks returns to Salem on Wednesday, July 29, convinced that something is terribly wrong with her son.
She lashes out at EJ and insists that he is not Stefano DiMera. Susan refuses to stand by and watch her “Elvis Junior” become the same kind of monster his father was.
However, Susan’s warning may have come too late.
EJ has already crossed several dangerous lines, and his efforts to protect his power may lead him to even darker actions.
Marlena encourages EJ to listen to the better part of himself, but there may not be much conscience left for her to reach.
At the same time, Johnny DiMera comforts Chanel Dupree, and the couple spends time with baby Trey. Their warm family scenes offer a brief escape from the darkness surrounding the DiMera family.
Joy Puts Pressure on Alex
Alex Kiriakis is stunned by Joy Wesley’s latest demand.
Whatever terms Joy presents could drive an even deeper wedge between Alex and Stephanie Johnson. Arianna Horton witnesses Joy’s calculated move and responds with a sarcastic slow clap as Alex storms out of the pub.
On Thursday, July 30, Alex reassures Stephanie that he will never agree to Joy’s conditions.
Joy then seeks legal advice from Belle Black. She may be considering pressing charges against Stephanie over the shooting, requesting a restraining order or using the case as leverage to force Alex into cooperating.
Joy appears determined to get what she wants, even if it means threatening Stephanie’s freedom.
Lexie’s Secret Plan Ends in Disaster
Lexie Carver is caught lying to Abe and Theo. She claims she is planning to visit her mother, but she is secretly preparing to switch places with Kristen and be transported to DiMera Island.
Abe and Theo, unaware of Lexie’s plan, surprise her with a Christmas in July celebration. The house is decorated with a tree, stockings, hats and presents as the family attempts to make up for lost time.
Lexie and Abe exchange emotional declarations of love, but the celebration may delay her at the worst possible moment.
Kristen is supposed to meet Lexie for the switch. Instead, one of EJ’s men appears to abduct Kristen, forces her into a shipping container and prepares to send her away.
Lexie may never arrive because she is soon expected to suffer a major medical crisis.
With actress Stacy Haiduk’s run reportedly completed, Kristen may disappear from Salem for an extended period—although characters from the DiMera family rarely stay gone forever.
Chad, Belle and Leo Head Toward Europe
Chad DiMera asks Leo why he believes Dimitri may have taken Gwen.
Leo shows Chad the disturbing response he received after contacting Dimitri, and the message strengthens his suspicion that Gwen may be in Alamania.
Chad and Belle are already preparing to travel to Italy to investigate the mystery surrounding the DiMera chess set. Gwen’s disappearance could send them on an unexpected detour.
Leo may join them or pursue Dimitri on his own.
The question is whether Leo will inform EJ that suspicion has shifted toward Dimitri—or keep the information secret until Gwen is safely found.
With Gwen missing, Kristen facing exile, Holly turning against EJ and Susan sensing evil, the DiMera family appears ready to enter one of its most explosive chapters yet.
The two weeks from July 27 through August 7 promise betrayals, romantic manipulation, family confrontations and a mystery that may stretch far beyond Salem.
