Days of Our Lives Predictions: Kristen Is Shipped to the Island as Dimitri’s Revenge Against Gwen Is Exposed
Several Salem secrets could explode at once on Days of Our Lives as Kristen DiMera’s escape plan collapses, Dimitri von Leuschner is linked to Gwen Rizczech’s disappearance and Sarah Horton prepares to expose EJ DiMera’s cruel scheme against Holly Jonas.
Elsewhere, Philip Kiriakis may use his romantic history with Gabi Hernandez to secure the money Titan desperately needs. Cat Greene’s unauthorized investigation could also destroy Rafe Hernandez’s case against EJ before it ever reaches court.
Lexie misses the swap, leaving Kristen trapped
Kristen and Lexie recently formed a desperate agreement after Lexie overheard EJ planning to have Kristen kidnapped and transported to the DiMera family island.
Lexie, who believes she is dying, wanted to disappear without forcing Abe Carver and Theo Carver to watch her suffer again. Kristen suggested that they exchange places: Kristen would escape, while Lexie would enter the cargo container and spend her final days alone on the island.
The plan may fail because of Lexie’s family.
Abe and Theo begin recognizing that she is hiding something. Lexie claims she is preparing to visit her mother, but her explanation does not fully convince them. Their suspicions grow as her health deteriorates and she struggles to conceal the truth.
Abe and Theo then surprise her with a Christmas-in-July celebration, hoping to make up for the years they lost together. The emotional gathering delays Lexie long enough for her to miss the scheduled exchange.
Her physical condition could also make the swap impossible. If Lexie collapses and is rushed back to the hospital, she will have no chance of reaching the cargo container.
Kristen, meanwhile, is kidnapped by EJ’s henchman and forced inside a trailer. When her captor tells her to enjoy the flight, she realizes that Lexie is not coming to replace her.
The family celebration may therefore become an unexpected miracle. Lexie remains in Salem with Abe and Theo, while Kristen is sent to the island exactly as EJ intended.
Dimitri may have kidnapped Gwen for revenge
EJ appears to be the obvious suspect in Gwen’s disappearance. She recently expressed fear that he would come after her, and she created a dead-man switch containing evidence of his alleged crimes.
However, EJ may not be responsible for taking her.
Rafe focuses on the disappearance, while Leo Stark becomes increasingly desperate for help. Chad DiMera also begins investigating after Leo receives an alarming response from Dimitri.
That message could reveal that Dimitri has Gwen.
His motive would be deeply personal. Gwen and EJ previously kidnapped Dimitri and hid him in Alamainia so they could use his fortune to finance their secret laboratory. Gwen then forged a letter to Leo claiming Dimitri had fallen in love with another inmate.
The lie shattered Leo and Dimitri’s relationship.
Gwen later released Dimitri only because she wanted him to disrupt Leo’s wedding to Javi Hernandez. Dimitri tried to win Leo back, but Leo refused to abandon Javi. Humiliated and furious, Dimitri left Salem with multiple reasons to seek revenge.
He may now believe that kidnapping Gwen is poetic justice. Since no one punished her for holding him captive, Dimitri could decide to impose his own sentence.
Leo will likely demand that Dimitri release his best friend. He may warn Dimitri that any remaining chance of reconciliation will disappear permanently if Gwen is harmed.
Dimitri’s feelings for Leo could ultimately become Gwen’s best hope of survival.
Sarah tells Holly that EJ framed her
Sarah initially believes the evidence suggesting that Holly has relapsed.
Holly tests positive for Corazal, an opioid, and Tate later finds pills inside the bag Xander brought to the hospital. When Holly runs away and collapses at the Salem Inn, Sarah assumes she may have left to obtain more drugs.
Holly is devastated that almost no one believes her.
EJ appears to be the exception, but only because he knows exactly how the pills entered her bag.
Xander eventually remembers leaving the bag unattended near the nurses’ station. He also recalls seeing EJ close to it. That detail gives him a disturbing theory: EJ secretly planted the drugs to make Holly appear responsible for her own poisoning.
Security footage may confirm his suspicions.
EJ allegedly needed a way to protect DiMera Pharmaceuticals after a contaminated batch of Corazal was linked to arsenic. The company then attempted to dispose of the evidence on Smith Island.
By portraying Holly as a drug user, EJ could argue that her symptoms came from illegal behavior rather than a dangerously contaminated product.
Sarah will be horrified when Xander explains his theory. She may confront EJ after finding him in Holly’s hospital room and order him to stay away from her.
Sarah could then tell Holly the full truth: EJ may be responsible for both her poisoning and the pills found in her bag.
The revelation would crush Holly. EJ once served as her stepfather and claimed to care about Nicole Walker’s children. Discovering that he sacrificed her reputation to protect himself could become the final reason Holly leaves Salem.
Johnny has already confronted EJ over the accusations. Sarah’s evidence may finally make it impossible for him to continue denying what he did.
Philip may seduce Gabi to save Titan
Gabi recently withdrew her investment offer after accusing Philip and Xander of producing counterfeit Gabi Chic handbags.
Both men deny the accusation and insist that someone connected to DiMera Enterprises may be responsible. Xander wants Philip to use his past relationship with Gabi to change her mind.
Philip initially resists.
He would rather sell the Kiriakis mansion than manipulate his former girlfriend. However, he may realize that sacrificing Victor Kiriakis’ home would betray the family legacy he is attempting to protect.
That leaves Gabi’s money as Titan’s best chance of survival.
Philip could approach her with apologies, charm and claims that he wants to rebuild their relationship. He may tell Gabi that he forgives her accusations and still has feelings for her.
The romance would not be entirely difficult to fake. Philip and Gabi were once serious enough to live together, and she was deeply hurt when he ended their relationship.
Gabi is intelligent and suspicious, but unresolved feelings could make her vulnerable. If Philip convincingly suggests that they have another chance, she may agree to reinvest in Titan.
His plan becomes far more dangerous if genuine emotions return.
Philip may begin by using Gabi, only to realize that he still cares about her. By then, Xander’s instructions and the financial deception could make a real reconciliation impossible.
Gabi is also unlikely to forgive him once she discovers that their renewed romance began as a scheme to obtain her money.
Cat’s stolen confession may destroy Rafe’s case
Cat believes Gwen’s written confession will provide the evidence needed to bring down EJ.
She gives the document to Rafe and expects him to celebrate the breakthrough. Instead, he may be furious when he learns how she obtained it.
The confession was reportedly stored by Melinda Trask’s law firm as part of Gwen’s dead-man switch. Cat accessed the system, stole the file and deleted the original.
Her actions create multiple legal problems.
Investigators generally need a warrant, consent or another lawful method to obtain protected evidence. By stealing the confession from a lawyer’s files, Cat may have violated attorney-client protections and destroyed its usefulness in court.
She also damaged the chain of custody. Rafe cannot easily prove that the document remained authentic or unchanged after Cat illegally removed it.
Evidence discovered through that stolen document could also be challenged as the product of an unlawful search. Even when a confession contains accurate information, the method used to obtain it can determine whether prosecutors are allowed to present it.
Rafe and Andrew Donovan previously warned Cat that she was crossing dangerous lines. She ignored them because she believed catching EJ justified the risk.
Her impatience may now give EJ’s attorneys exactly what they need.
Instead of strengthening the investigation, Cat could have made the most important evidence inadmissible. Rafe may tell her that she has compromised months of work and potentially allowed EJ to escape prosecution again.
Cat’s actions could also place her own freedom at risk. Breaking into a law office’s computer system and deleting confidential files may expose her to criminal charges.
With Kristen heading toward the island, Dimitri seeking revenge and Sarah preparing to reveal EJ’s betrayal, Salem is entering another explosive week. Yet the greatest danger may come from the people trying to help. Philip’s deception could destroy Gabi, while Cat’s reckless methods may collapse the entire case against EJ.
