Days of Our Lives Early Spoilers: Kristen Is Forced Out of Salem as EJ’s Revenge Plan Explodes
The week of August 3–7 promises major exits, emotional reunions and dangerous medical emergencies on Days of Our Lives. Kristen DiMera may finally be driven out of Salem by her own brother, EJ, while Brady Black celebrates Rachel’s return home. Elsewhere, the search for Gwen intensifies, Gabi Hernandez reconsiders an important decision, and Holly Jonas is released from the hospital.
Before those storylines unfold, the final days of July will set several dramatic plans in motion.
Leo Turns to Rafe for Help
On Wednesday, July 29, Leo becomes increasingly desperate to locate Gwen. He asks Rafe for assistance and may tell him about the dead-man’s-switch letter Gwen left behind.
Leo believes the letter could contain crucial clues about what happened to her. However, Rafe and Cat may decide not to reveal everything they know. Cat has already delivered Gwen’s letter to Rafe, and the pair appear to be using its contents as part of their investigation.
Leo could therefore find himself deliberately kept in the dark, even as he pushes the FBI for answers.
His suspicions soon shift toward Dimitri von Leuschner. After sending Dimitri a message asking about Gwen, Leo receives a response that immediately makes him believe something is wrong. Since Gwen and Dimitri share a complicated history, Leo may conclude that Dimitri abducted her as an act of revenge.
Chad also becomes involved in the mystery and gives Rafe an update about Gwen. Leo could eventually persuade Chad and Belle to help him search for his missing best friend before they continue their own journey to Italy.
Susan Warns EJ He Has Gone Too Far
Susan Banks returns to Salem with a powerful warning for her son.
Her psychic instincts tell her that EJ is hiding something dangerous, and she confronts him about his increasingly ruthless behavior. Susan insists that EJ is not Stefano DiMera and declares that she will not allow him to become the same kind of monster.
Unfortunately, her warning may come too late.
EJ is already moving forward with a revenge plan targeting Kristen. By the end of the week, one of his henchmen may force Kristen into a shipping container and send her away from Salem.
Before that happens, EJ and Kristen share a rare moment of honesty. Kristen may believe she still has a chance to escape the trap by switching places with Lexie, but the plan begins falling apart when Lexie fails to arrive at the agreed time.
Kristen’s Exit Leaves Rachel Devastated
On Thursday, July 30, Rachel is officially released from Bayview. Brady, Belle and Tate celebrate her return, hoping that she can finally begin rebuilding her life.
The biggest question is whether Kristen will be allowed to see her daughter before EJ carries out his plan.
Kristen’s disappearance will likely leave Rachel heartbroken. Brady may quickly suspect EJ was involved, but EJ will almost certainly deny everything.
Although Brady has complicated feelings about Kristen, he may ultimately see her absence as an opportunity to protect Rachel from her mother’s destructive influence. Still, Rachel’s emotional reaction could create a new crisis for the Black and DiMera families.
Kristen’s apparent exit also reflects actress Stacy Haiduk’s reported departure from the show. However, as longtime viewers know, no DiMera disappearance is necessarily permanent. Kristen could eventually return when EJ least expects it.
Lexie’s Condition Takes a Tragic Turn
Lexie’s health crisis also becomes more serious.
She previously claimed she was traveling alone to visit her mother, Celeste. In reality, she planned to go to DiMera Island and die away from her family. Kristen convinced Lexie to switch places with her, hoping the arrangement would help them both escape EJ’s plans.
However, Abe and Theo realize that Lexie has been lying.
On Friday, July 31, they surprise her with a Christmas-in-July celebration, complete with a tree and presents. Abe and Theo want to recreate the family holidays they lost and make new memories with Lexie while they still can.
The touching surprise may delay Lexie long enough to ruin Kristen’s escape plan.
As Lexie’s symptoms return, the stress could cause her to collapse. Abe and Theo are expected to rush her to the hospital, where the family may receive devastating news. Lexie’s death appears increasingly close, and EJ could be consumed by guilt when he realizes his actions prevented her from carrying out her final wishes.
Chanel Faces a Pregnancy Emergency
Johnny tries to support Chanel as they prepare for the birth of Quattro. The couple also spends time with little Trey, attempting to enjoy a peaceful family moment.
However, Chanel’s pregnancy is considered high-risk because of her cancer treatment and chemotherapy history.
During the week of August 3, Chanel may suddenly go into premature labor. She is expected to be rushed to the hospital after beginning to hemorrhage, forcing Kayla and the medical team to act quickly.
The emergency could put both Chanel and the baby in danger. What should have been a joyful new chapter may instead become one of the most frightening moments of Johnny and Chanel’s lives.
Gabi and Philip Grow Closer
Gabi shocks Philip when she changes her attitude toward him.
Philip recently admitted that Gabi’s accusations hurt him, comparing her behavior to the way she previously injured Theo by jumping to the wrong conclusion. His honesty appears to affect her, and she may agree to continue investing in Titan.
The two also find themselves in each other’s arms, suggesting that their business partnership could become romantic.
Still, neither character should be trusted completely.
Philip may be manipulating Gabi under Xander’s instructions in an attempt to secure her money. At the same time, Gabi could have a secret agenda of her own.
Their growing connection also becomes tied to the mystery surrounding counterfeit Gabi Chic products. Someone obtained images of a prototype and sold the designs to a knockoff company. Suspicion may eventually fall on Gus, whose arrival and behavior have raised questions.
Holly Leaves the Hospital—but Not for Long
Holly is finally released from the hospital, but her future in Salem remains uncertain.
She may soon discover that EJ planted the pills connected to the arsenic cover-up in order to protect himself. Learning the truth could place Holly directly in conflict with EJ and give her another reason to leave town.
With Holly and Tate both expected to exit Salem, the young couple may decide to move to Paris, where Holly can remain close to her mother and younger brother.
Meanwhile, Belle and Chad prepare to travel to Italy to investigate the mystery surrounding the chess set. Gwen’s disappearance could force them to take an unexpected detour to Alamainia, where Dimitri may be holding her.
With Kristen gone, Lexie fighting for her life, Chanel facing a medical emergency and Gwen still missing, the week of August 3 will push several Salem families toward breaking point.
And in much later spoilers, Sami Brady, Carrie Brady, Lucas Horton and Will Horton are expected to return in June 2027 for a major Brady family reunion. Whether the gathering celebrates a wedding or brings the family together because of a tragedy involving Roman remains to be seen.
