Days of Our Lives Early Spoilers: Lexie’s Condition Exposed, Alex Reaches His Breaking Point and Holly Is Framed

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 20–24 promise emotional family revelations, a marriage pushed toward collapse, a possible kidnapping and a dangerous scheme designed to make Holly Jonas look guilty.

Alex Kiriakis is reaching the end of his patience with Stephanie, while Lexie Carver’s deteriorating health may finally become impossible to hide from Abe and Theo. Elsewhere, suspicious pills are discovered in Holly’s possession, and Kristen DiMera could soon become the target of a sinister abduction plot.

Here is what viewers can expect as Salem heads into another dramatic week.

Alex Confronts Stephanie Over Her Betrayal

The tension between Alex and Stephanie continues to intensify after she deleted an important voicemail concerning Joy and Alex’s daughter, Kelsey.

Stephanie’s jealousy caused her to withhold information about a car accident involving the child. Although Kelsey’s injury was reportedly minor, Alex is furious that Stephanie allowed her personal resentment toward Joy to interfere with his responsibilities as a father.

Alex also feels guilty that he did not do more to resolve Joy’s transportation problems earlier. He may decide to buy her another vehicle or give her access to his own car to ensure Kelsey remains safe.

When Alex returns home, however, he may discover a shirtless Theo sleeping on the couch after a night of drinking with Stephanie.

Nothing romantic may have happened between them, but the scene will look suspicious—especially while Alex is already questioning whether he can trust his wife.

Alex and Stephanie are expected to have a serious confrontation about the deleted message and her behavior toward Joy. Stephanie could remind Alex that he once turned off her phone to avoid interruptions while Kayla was facing a medical emergency.

That may expose Alex’s own hypocrisy, but it will not excuse Stephanie’s decision to hide information involving his child.

Theo Spirals as Lexie’s Secret Becomes Impossible to Hide

Theo Carver is already struggling emotionally.

He recently learned more about Stefano DiMera’s connection to Lexie’s previous illness, discovered that Abe had been working with EJ against him professionally and suffered another painful disappointment involving Gabi.

His problems will become even more devastating when Lexie’s condition worsens.

Lexie had planned to keep her terminal diagnosis secret from Abe and Theo. However, she is reportedly experiencing sudden collapses that she can no longer explain away.

During the week of July 20, Lexie’s symptoms may become so severe that her loved ones are forced to call for emergency assistance. She could be taken to the hospital, where the truth about her condition is finally revealed.

Abe and Theo will be devastated to learn that Lexie is dying again—and they may also be furious with EJ if they discover that he knew more than he admitted.

Lexie is also expected to shock Kristen. She may reveal her diagnosis to her sister or warn Kristen about EJ’s plans.

Unfortunately, even if Kristen receives advance warning, it may not prevent her from being kidnapped.

Kristen Could Be Taken to a Deserted Island

Kristen has attempted to portray EJ as a threat to Rachel, but EJ may be preparing a much more calculated form of revenge.

Spoilers suggest Kristen will be abducted and possibly taken to a deserted DiMera-owned island. EJ may believe removing her from Salem permanently is the only way to stop her schemes.

Lexie may have overheard part of EJ and Rita’s conversation after one of her collapses. If so, she could try to warn Kristen before it is too late.

Kristen is rarely easy to defeat, so any kidnapping plot involving her is unlikely to unfold without resistance or unexpected consequences.

Holly Is Framed With Suspicious Pills

Holly is facing enormous pressure after surviving arsenic poisoning, dealing with a lawsuit and being accused of abusing medication again.

Her situation becomes worse when Tate finds pills inside her bag.

Holly insists the medication does not belong to her, but her defensive reaction makes her look guilty. When Tate attempts to discuss the discovery, Holly explodes—and Sarah witnesses the confrontation.

The pills may be connected to the same pharmaceutical conspiracy behind Holly’s poisoning. EJ could have planted them to destroy Holly’s credibility and make everyone believe she has relapsed.

If the setup works, Holly could be sent to rehabilitation shortly after leaving the hospital.

Sarah and Brady are continuing to investigate the possible connection between EJ, DiMera Pharmaceuticals and the arsenic incident. However, the planted evidence could make it extremely difficult for them to prove Holly is telling the truth.

Ari’s return may offer Holly some emotional support. The two young women have plenty to discuss, including Ari’s conflict with Gabi and Holly’s increasingly dangerous legal and medical situation.

EJ Receives Bad News About the Hospital

Kayla is expected to inform EJ that the state board is revoking his ownership rights to the hospital.

Xander will reportedly be present when EJ receives the news, making the humiliation even worse.

Questions remain about how the ownership transfer will work, since the hospital cannot simply be taken from EJ without financial consequences. A new buyer may be required, opening the door for Gwen to purchase the hospital.

If Gwen takes control, she could gain the perfect opportunity to embarrass EJ and establish herself as a major power player in Salem.

EJ is also expected to fire Sarah during the summer, suggesting he may temporarily retain authority or make the decision before the board’s ruling becomes official.

Cat and EJ’s Romance Intensifies

Cat continues recovering memories connected to her past with EJ.

As those memories return, she may realize that their relationship involved genuine affection rather than manipulation. Their recent kiss could soon lead to something more intimate.

However, unanswered questions remain about how Cat originally became involved with EJ. She may have been pushed toward him by the ISA, Clyde or another outside force.

Her restored memories could either bring the couple closer or expose another betrayal.

Chanel Faces a Pregnancy Crisis

Chanel’s pregnancy is also heading toward a frightening medical emergency.

Upcoming scenes show her scared and bleeding as Kayla orders everyone out of the room. The crisis appears to involve premature labor, leaving Johnny terrified for both Chanel and their unborn child.

The storyline could become especially emotional because the Carver family is already dealing with Lexie’s worsening condition.

New Romances and Returning Faces

Gwen and Philip may continue bonding over their recent problems. Their growing connection could become awkward because Gwen has also been developing a friendship with Gabi, who remains bitter about her split from Philip.

Gabi may turn to Theo when Lexie’s condition is revealed, potentially bringing the former couple closer during his family crisis.

Chad and Belle will continue investigating the mysterious chess set and the paper hidden inside a concert program. The clue could lead them deeper into another dangerous Salem mystery.

Dimitri von Leuschner is also expected to return soon, creating the possibility of a reunion with Leo Stark.

With Lexie’s secret exposed, Alex’s marriage deteriorating and Holly being framed, the week of July 20–24 could change several Salem relationships permanently.
