Days of Our Lives Predictions: Lexie Collapses at Vow Renewal, Holly Escapes and Xander Tempts Gabi

The coming week on Days of Our Lives could bring a heartbreaking medical crisis, a mysterious kidnapping and several dangerous schemes across Salem.

Lexie Carver may collapse just as Abe Carver places a ring on her finger during their emotional vow renewal. Meanwhile, Holly Jonas could flee the hospital after being falsely accused of carrying drugs, and Xander Kiriakis may make Gabi Hernandez an irresistible business offer to save Titan.

These predictions are based on official weekly spoilers and scenes featured in the latest Days of Our Lives promotional footage.

Gwen and Kristen Could Be Trapped Together on DiMera Island

One of the week’s biggest mysteries concerns Gwen Rizczech, who disappeared after being abducted by a masked individual.

Leo Stark visits Gwen’s hotel room and immediately realizes that something is wrong. The bed has been turned down but has not been slept in, suggesting Gwen never returned after her encounter last Friday.

Before vanishing, Gwen had confidently told EJ DiMera that she intended to purchase the hospital after Kayla Johnson revealed that the state board planned to take control away from him. EJ is unlikely to surrender such a valuable institution without a fight.

Gwen also previously warned Leo that EJ should be considered responsible if anything happened to her. She arranged for her lawyer to release damaging information about EJ if she remained missing for a certain number of days.

That could explain why Leo and Gabi team up on Wednesday, while Melinda Trask agrees to help Leo by Friday.

At the same time, Kristen DiMera is facing a similar threat. EJ has already discussed having Kristen abducted and permanently abandoned on DiMera Island. Lexie overheard the plan while waking up and later warned Kristen about what their brother intended to do.

Kristen consequently proposes an escape plan to Lexie on Tuesday. However, the plan may fail before either woman can leave Salem.

Kristen shares an emotional moment with Rachel Black later in the week, and the scene appears to be a farewell. She may believe that disappearing is the only way to protect herself and her daughter.

If Lexie’s worsening condition prevents her from leaving, Kristen could be captured instead. Gwen may already be on DiMera Island, setting up an explosive confrontation between two women with a complicated history.

Gwen would hardly welcome Kristen’s arrival, especially after discovering that Kristen had been secretly involved with Xander behind her back.

Holly May Sneak Out of the Hospital

Holly faces a frightening situation after Tate Black discovers a bag of pills among her belongings.

Sarah Horton and Tate confront Holly on Monday, but Holly insists that the drugs do not belong to her. When she asks whether she can return home, Sarah refuses and presents the pills as evidence that Holly may be in danger.

Holly has every reason to feel betrayed.

She has been extremely careful with medication since her previous overdose, and she has continued denying that she has taken recreational drugs. The accusation becomes even more painful when Tate appears to support Sarah instead of believing her.

What Sarah and Tate do not know is that EJ planted the pills in Holly’s bag.

EJ is attempting to distract Sarah and Brady Black from investigating his possible connection to the arsenic poisoning and the contaminated water. He also wants to shift attention away from suspicions surrounding a dangerous batch of opioids.

His plan places Holly directly in the line of fire.

Ironically, EJ is the only person openly defending her innocence because he already knows she never possessed the drugs willingly. Holly even allows him to remain in her hospital room after Sarah tries to remove him.

With Sarah refusing to discharge her and Tate continuing to question her, Holly may decide that she has had enough. She could leave the hospital without permission, creating another crisis for Sarah and everyone attempting to protect her.

The drug storyline may also represent the beginning of Holly’s eventual departure from Salem.

Lexie Could Collapse During Her Vow Renewal

Lexie’s emotional return has given Abe another chance to express his love for her, but their reunion may soon turn tragic.

On Thursday, Abe and Lexie exchange vows and rings in a deeply meaningful ceremony. The occasion could serve as Lexie’s final goodbye before she leaves Salem with Kristen.

Lexie has already said that she wants to visit her mother alone. That explanation would allow her to disappear without immediately raising suspicion. In reality, she may have no intention of returning.

Kristen could offer to care for Lexie during her final days, allowing her to die peacefully without forcing Abe and Theo Carver to watch her deteriorate again.

However, Lexie’s health has become increasingly unstable. She has already suffered several collapses, making another medical emergency almost inevitable.

The most devastating moment could come during the vow renewal itself.

Just as Abe places the ring on Lexie’s finger, she may lose consciousness. Abe and Theo would rush her to the hospital, destroying Kristen’s escape plan.

Promotional footage shows Lexie lying in a hospital bed while Abe angrily orders EJ to leave. That confrontation may occur after Lexie’s collapse, especially if Abe learns that EJ’s schemes contributed to the chaos surrounding her family.

With Lexie hospitalized, Kristen would be left vulnerable to the masked abductor who already targeted Gwen.

Johnny May Expose EJ’s Plot Against Holly

Johnny DiMera confronts his father on Friday and appears to accuse him of planting the drugs in Holly’s bag.

EJ previously pressured Johnny into helping save Holly’s life by entering Sarah’s office and leaving a medical book open to information about arsenic poisoning. Although the clue helped the doctors, Johnny was furious about being manipulated and warned EJ that he would never participate in another scheme.

Now Johnny may realize that EJ has gone too far.

He might not directly report his father, but he is unlikely to remain silent while Holly is framed for drug possession. Johnny could anonymously warn Sarah that the pills were planted.

That warning could encourage Brady to examine hospital security footage. If the cameras captured EJ near Holly’s belongings at the nurses’ station, his entire plan could begin to unravel.

Johnny has protected EJ before, but allowing an innocent young woman to suffer may finally force him to choose between loyalty and doing what is right.

Xander and Philip May Offer Gabi a Powerful Position at Titan

Gabi shocks Xander and Philip Kiriakis on Tuesday by withdrawing her offer to invest in Titan.

She previously agreed to use part of her DiMera inheritance to help rescue the struggling company. Her investment was also intended to make amends for spying on Xander and Philip while working with Tony DiMera.

Gabi was never planning to donate the money. She expected shares in Titan and a meaningful return on her investment.

Now that the DiMera inheritances have reportedly been released, Gabi has access to the funds. However, she may decide to keep the money for herself, particularly if she needs it to fight businesses selling counterfeit versions of her handbags.

She could also discover that someone connected to Titan has ties to the knockoff operation.

Whatever her reason, Xander and Philip cannot afford to lose her financial support. Their desperation may inspire Xander to make Gabi an offer that is difficult to reject.

Instead of merely giving her company shares, they could offer her an executive position at Titan. The company already has two chief executives, so Gabi would be unlikely to become CEO. However, a role such as chief operating officer would give her influence, prestige and valuable experience.

For Gabi, the position could be more attractive than a simple financial deal. For Xander and Philip, it may be the only way to secure the money Titan desperately needs.

Between Lexie’s possible collapse, Gwen and Kristen’s kidnappings, Holly’s desperate escape and EJ’s growing web of lies, Salem is heading toward an especially dangerous and emotional week.
