General Hospital Predictions: Jason May Leave Britt as Drew Secretly Prepares to Blindside Willow

A transformed Jason Morgan, Drew Cain’s secret recovery and a possible career breakthrough for Harrison Chase could shake up Port Charles during the coming week on General Hospital.

Based on the latest official spoilers, Jason may make a painful decision about Britt Westbourne as he reorganizes his life around his son. Meanwhile, Drew appears determined to hide his improving condition until he can turn the tables on Willow Tait.

Elsewhere, Chase could regain his detective badge, Britt may receive another opportunity at General Hospital and Portia Robinson may surprise Curtis Ashford with the name chosen for their newborn son.

Jason May End His Relationship With Britt

Jason and Danny Morgan return to Port Charles after spending time away together on a father-and-son trip.

Jason is no longer the same man he was before being imprisoned and tortured at a WSB black site. Months of captivity forced him to reconsider his priorities, and he has now promised Danny that his son will come first.

That promise may lead Jason to make major changes in both his professional and personal life.

Jason could begin distancing himself from Sonny Corinthos’ criminal organization. He is unlikely to stop caring about Sonny as a friend, but remaining involved in dangerous business could lead to another arrest, disappearance or attack—any of which would separate him from Danny again.

Stepping away from the mob may not be Jason’s only difficult decision.

Britt has become another source of instability in his life. Their relationship is passionate, but it is also filled with arguments, danger and emotional complications. Jason may realize that he cannot devote himself fully to Danny while constantly dealing with Britt’s crises.

For that reason, Jason could officially end the relationship.

He probably will not treat Britt cruelly or blame her for everything that has gone wrong. However, he may explain that he needs a quieter and safer life so he can become the father Danny deserves.

The breakup would devastate Britt, especially when she is already isolated and struggling to rebuild her life.

Drew’s Recovery Could Catch Willow Completely Off Guard

Drew’s locked-in condition may not last much longer.

He has already regained movement in his hands and feet. He recently knocked over Willow’s medical bag to attract Kai Taylor’s attention and then used blinking responses to communicate that he was becoming more aware and mobile.

Most importantly, Drew made it clear that he does not want Willow to know the truth.

He also signaled to Wiley and Amelia that they must remain silent, placing a finger against his lips in a clear warning not to reveal what they had seen.

Drew appears to be hiding his recovery so he can regain the upper hand. Willow currently believes he remains helpless and fully dependent on her, which gives Drew the opportunity to watch, listen and plan without raising suspicion.

Monday’s spoilers indicate that Willow makes an unpleasant realization. Later in the week, Elizabeth Webber challenges her while Jack Brennan delivers troubling news.

Drew’s plan may also benefit from Valentin Cassadine’s recent actions. Evidence that Nina Reeves and Brennan hoped to use to protect Willow has reportedly been taken, potentially weakening their efforts to stop Drew.

Summer spoilers tease that Drew will make “a big splash” and that Willow’s expensive wooden floors will be damaged. That wording may be literal.

Drew could suddenly regain enough movement to cause a major spill or accident inside Willow’s home. The incident might happen near a bathtub, in the living room or during an attempted escape.

Whatever occurs, Willow may be horrified to discover that Drew has been recovering much faster than she realized—and deliberately keeping it from her.

Chase Could Get His Detective Badge Back

Harrison Chase may finally receive the professional opportunity he has been waiting for.

Anna Devane returns to work at the Port Charles Police Department on Tuesday. By Thursday, she makes Chase an offer, and on Friday, Dante Falconeri puts him to the test.

That sequence strongly suggests that Anna may restore Chase to detective status or give him an opportunity to earn his badge back.

Dante previously demoted Chase to patrol duty, but the decision was heavily influenced by the controversy surrounding Willow. During Anna’s absence, Justine Turner also became increasingly involved in PCPD business.

Justine has pressured Dante, interfered in matters beyond her authority and repeatedly warned Chase, despite not controlling hiring or disciplinary decisions within the department.

Anna is unlikely to tolerate that interference after resuming her position as commissioner.

Chase remains a capable investigator, and the PCPD needs experienced detectives. Although he has made questionable personal choices, he has not deliberately destroyed evidence or corrupted an investigation.

Anna also does not share Justine’s personal hostility toward Willow. She may judge Chase on his police work rather than his family connections.

If Chase successfully completes Dante’s test, he could reclaim his detective shield—and Justine will almost certainly be unhappy about it.

Britt May Return to General Hospital Under Elizabeth’s Supervision

Britt is running out of options.

Carly Spencer has given away Britt’s room, her personal relationships are falling apart and she desperately needs to regain control of her life. Returning to work at General Hospital may be her best chance to start over.

Tuesday’s spoilers have Britt meeting Tristan again at the hospital. On Wednesday, she receives some tough love.

Stella Henry previously warned Britt that her history of disappearing and abandoning responsibilities makes it difficult for others to trust her professionally. Carly has also told Britt to stop blaming everyone else and begin taking responsibility for her own choices.

This week, Stella and Elizabeth meet with someone at General Hospital. That person may be Britt.

With Terry Randolph absent and Portia recovering after giving birth, Stella and Elizabeth could be responsible for deciding whether Britt deserves another chance.

They may agree to reinstate her—but only under strict conditions.

Britt could be placed on probation, much like she was during a previous return to the hospital. Elizabeth may be assigned to monitor her work, evaluate her behavior and report any problems with colleagues or patients.

That arrangement would be especially uncomfortable for Britt.

She and Elizabeth have a long history of conflict, and Britt previously hated answering to her. Elizabeth turning the tables by becoming Britt’s supervisor would create both workplace tension and entertaining personal drama.

Britt may get the job she needs, but she will have to control her attitude if she wants to keep it.

Portia May Name Her Baby After Marshall

Portia recently gave birth to a baby boy, temporarily bringing peace to several strained relationships.

Curtis, Portia, Jordan Ashford, Trina Robinson and Isaiah Gannon are attempting to coexist for the baby’s sake. Curtis remains uncomfortable with Isaiah, but Isaiah has tried to remain respectful and even congratulated him on becoming a father.

Stella has also warned Portia and Curtis that they must stop fighting and build a peaceful environment for their child.

Wednesday’s spoilers indicate that Portia surprises Curtis.

The surprise may involve the name she has chosen for their son. Portia could decide to name the baby Marshall in honor of Curtis’ father.

That choice would carry even more emotional weight because Marshall Ashford is expected to return to Port Charles soon. His arrival would allow him to meet his new grandson and possibly help repair the fractured Ashford family.

However, questions about the baby’s paternity may not disappear completely. A future revelation that Isaiah is the biological father would dramatically change every relationship involved.

For now, though, the newborn may provide the Ashfords with a rare opportunity to heal.

With Jason reconsidering his future, Drew secretly regaining control and Chase preparing for a possible return to detective work, the coming week could mark the beginning of several major changes on General Hospital.
