General Hospital’s Trina Faces a Terrifying New Threat — Could Spencer Cassadine Return to Save Her?

Trina Robinson may be heading into one of the most dangerous chapters of her life on General Hospital, and the growing threat surrounding her has reignited speculation about the possible return of Spencer Cassadine.

While Port Charles remains consumed by the shocking incident involving Drew Cain, Trina appears to be focusing her attention on the wrong mystery. Following Nina Reeves’ impulsive decision to push Drew into the lake while he was in his wheelchair, Trina and Kai Taylor have begun forming their own conclusions about what happened.

Could Spencer Cassadine Still Be Alive?

Spencer was presumed dead after falling into the Seine during his confrontation with Esme Prince. His disappearance devastated Trina and left their love story without a satisfying conclusion.

However, soap opera history has repeatedly shown that a missing body rarely means a character is gone forever.

Spencer may have survived the fall and spent months recovering in secret. He could have been unconscious in a private European medical facility, suffering from memory loss or even held captive by an enemy connected to the Cassadine family.

Any of those explanations could allow the character to return without undoing the emotional impact of his apparent death.

The timing would also be perfect.

Imagine Trina being cornered by her stalker just as the situation becomes hopeless. The attacker moves closer, Trina has nowhere left to run, and suddenly Spencer appears.

Esme Prince cannot be completely ruled out either. Like Spencer, Esme was presumed dead after the fall in Paris. If she survived, she could once again target Trina as part of a calculated revenge scheme.
