The Young and the Restless Two-Week Spoilers: Kyle Loses Control, Victor Goes Rogue and Patty Returns

The Young and the Restless spoilers for September 7 through September 18 promise two explosive weeks in Genoa City, with Kyle Abbott unable to stay away from Victoria Newman, Victor Newman launching another dangerous revenge scheme, Adam Newman making a move behind Chelsea’s back, and Patty Williams resurfacing at the worst possible time.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman tries to protect Marie after a shocking death, Jack Abbott prepares a trap, and Phyllis Summers’ increasingly reckless plan involving Sharon Newman could put innocent people in real danger.

Nick Tries to Protect Marie After Logan’s Death

The week begins with tragedy surrounding Marie and her abusive husband, Logan.

After Logan becomes physically aggressive with Marie, she fights back in self-defense. During the struggle, Logan falls, hits his head and dies.

Nick immediately wants to protect Marie and even attempts to take responsibility for what happened, but Marie refuses to let him sacrifice himself.

She makes it clear to police that Nick was not even in the room when Logan died.

Although Marie is not formally arrested, officers take her downtown so she can provide an official statement. She later admits to Nick that Logan’s death may finally give her a chance to stay clean and rebuild her life.

Nick promises that Michael Baldwin will help her navigate the legal fallout.

Michael later meets with Nick at the rehabilitation facility, and things appear to turn out relatively well for Marie. Nick is visibly relieved and thanks Michael for finally helping something go right.

However, there is still one major unanswered question: what secret was Marie keeping for Logan before his death?

That mystery could become increasingly important.

Kyle and Victoria Give In Again

While Nick is dealing with Marie’s crisis, Victoria and Kyle continue playing an incredibly dangerous game.

Victoria meets Kyle at a cheap motel, where they happen to take the room next to Matt and Phyllis.

Almost immediately, Victoria and Kyle give in to their attraction.

Afterward, they once again insist that this was the final time.

Unfortunately, neither of them appears capable of actually ending the affair.

Victoria nearly gets caught when Phyllis appears nearby. She is forced to hide and quickly retreats into Kyle’s room, where she tells him that Phyllis almost saw her.

That close call raises another uncomfortable question.

Why is Phyllis at the same motel?

Victoria begins wondering whether Phyllis could somehow be following her.

The truth is even stranger.

Phyllis and Matt Plot to “Save” Sharon

In the next room, Phyllis and Matt are developing an outrageous scheme designed to redeem Matt in Sharon’s eyes.

Their basic idea is to manufacture some kind of danger so Matt can swoop in and rescue Sharon.

Among the possibilities they discuss are a kidnapping, an allergic reaction or even rescuing Sharon from a speeding vehicle.

None of these ideas sound particularly safe.

Phyllis also opens up about her long and complicated history with Sharon, including years of rivalry, betrayal and romantic conflict.

Matt appreciates Phyllis standing by him, but their plan is about to become much more dangerous once Patty enters the picture.

Jack and Diane Face Trouble Away From Genoa City

Jack and Diane initially get a much lighter storyline when Jack is bitten by a centipede while hiking.

A doctor checks him out, and Jack jokes that he needs a more dramatic story for the injury — perhaps something involving a snake.

The scare leads Jack and Diane into a sweet conversation about their relationship and how their love continues growing.

Unfortunately, their peaceful moment will not last.

Patty is about to return, and Jack may once again become one of her primary targets.

Nate and Stephanie Take a Romantic Step

Elsewhere, Stephanie brings Nate home after surgery on his hand.

She even records the procedure so Nate can watch what happened.

Devon and Lily stop by to check on him, while Stephanie later returns with food.

The evening ends with Stephanie and Nate sharing their first kiss.

Their relationship appears ready to heat up, although circumstances will soon create a temporary interruption.

Victor Makes Another Dangerous Power Move

On Tuesday, Victor begins making a major business move designed to expand his empire.

As usual, Nikki may not be pleased with his methods.

Victor has repeatedly promised Nikki that he will stop crossing certain lines, only to continue operating behind her back.

This latest move could finally test Nikki’s patience.

At the same time, Victoria is working with Audra on a possible deal involving the Vibbronte patents.

Victoria wants to know what Audra wants in exchange for them.

Audra makes it clear that money alone will not be enough.

Whatever she demands could completely change Victoria’s strategy.

Chelsea Is Blindsided by Adam

By Wednesday, Adam makes a decision without consulting Chelsea.

She is not happy.

The move may involve Billy Abbott and Adam’s ongoing willingness to target him.

Even if Billy has begun backing away from Chancellor, Victor and Adam may not be finished with him.

Chelsea has worked hard to create a more stable life with Adam, so discovering that he is once again making secret decisions could create serious tension between them.

Adam may believe he is simply handling business.

Chelsea could see it as a warning that old habits are returning.

Nikki Steps Into a New Role

Nikki also begins moving into a new position.

The change appears connected to business and may involve Victoria’s plans for Vibbronte.

Victoria and Nikki are seen discussing matters at Society, and Kyle eventually approaches their table.

That interaction could become especially uncomfortable considering Kyle and Victoria’s secret affair.

The more Victoria brings Kyle into her business orbit, the harder it will become for them to hide what is really happening.

Audra Warns Billy About Sally

Thursday brings another confrontation when Audra gives Billy a blunt reality check.

Her message is likely simple: do not destroy what he has with Sally.

Billy and Sally are already making wedding plans, with Pietro returning to help organize the celebration.

Audra may urge Billy to finally let go of Chancellor and stop allowing old obsessions to interfere with his future.

Jack has similar concerns.

He offers Billy a huge amount of money to start whatever new company he wants, making it clear that he still believes in his brother.

Unfortunately, Billy may reject Jack’s offer.

That could mean Billy is still not ready to walk away from the fight consuming him.

Patty Comes Out of the Shadows

Then comes one of the biggest shocks of the week.

Patty Williams is back.

She first appears smiling on a loading dock before later arriving at Matt’s motel room wearing a hat and sunglasses as a disguise.

Matt is stunned.

He wants to know how Patty escaped and what she is doing there.

Patty gives him a chilling answer, joking that if she revealed how she escaped, she would have to kill him.

Her arrival instantly changes everything.

Matt may decide to hide Patty’s presence from Phyllis, but that secret will be difficult to maintain.

More importantly, Jack and Diane are among the people who could be in serious danger.

Victor Targets the Abbotts Again

On Friday, Victor launches another revenge scheme against the Abbott family.

This could be one of his biggest mistakes.

Victoria has already warned Kyle that if Victor attacks the Abbotts again, Nikki may finally leave him.

Victor appears willing to take that risk anyway.

Once Nikki discovers what he has done, Victor could face consequences he never expected.

For once, the biggest threat to Victor’s marriage may not come from an outside rival.

It may come from Victor himself.

Jack Sets a Trap for Patty

Jack learns that Patty is loose and immediately begins preparing for the worst.

Because Jack and Diane were previously victims of Patty’s actions, authorities are likely to warn them about her escape.

Jack decides to set a trap.

The goal will be to lure Patty into revealing herself before she can hurt anyone.

However, Patty is unpredictable, and Matt’s involvement could complicate everything.

Jack may think he is controlling the situation, but Patty has never been easy to control.

September 14–18: Kyle and Victoria Keep Sneaking Around

During the second week, Kyle and Victoria apparently fail to stop their affair.

Despite repeatedly claiming that each encounter will be their last, they continue finding ways to be together.

That means getting caught is becoming almost inevitable.

If Phyllis learns the truth first, she could gain an explosive piece of information about both the Newman and Abbott families.

And if Victor discovers what is happening between his daughter and Kyle, Genoa City could erupt.

Sharon Could Become Collateral Damage

Phyllis and Matt’s plan to manufacture a rescue for Sharon also becomes increasingly dangerous.

Their goal may be to make Matt look heroic, but fake danger can quickly become real danger.

With Patty now loose, there is a strong possibility that Sharon could end up in genuine trouble.

Phyllis may soon realize that she created a situation she cannot control.

By then, it could be too late.

Jack and Diane Remain in Patty’s Crosshairs

Jack’s trap for Patty will become one of the biggest stories of the second week.

If the plan succeeds, Patty could quickly be returned to psychiatric custody.

If it fails, Jack and Diane may find themselves facing a much more dangerous confrontation.

Patty’s return also creates uncertainty for Matt, who now has another secret to keep from Phyllis.

The longer he hides Patty’s presence, the more suspicious Phyllis is likely to become.

Nick and Marie May Grow Closer

With Logan gone and Marie receiving legal help, Nick may finally have the opportunity to explore his connection with her.

Their bond has already deepened significantly.

Nick’s willingness to protect Marie could bring them even closer, and a genuine romance may begin developing.

However, Marie’s mysterious connection to Logan and whatever secret she has been hiding could complicate that relationship before it truly begins.

Victor Could Finally Push Nikki Too Far

Victor’s attack on the Abbotts may also trigger the confrontation Nikki has been threatening for a long time.

She has repeatedly asked Victor to stop allowing revenge to control his decisions.

If she discovers that he ignored her again, Nikki may finally decide she has had enough.

For Victor, defeating Jack may suddenly seem far less important if it costs him his marriage.

Billy and Sally Move Toward Their Wedding

Billy and Sally continue making wedding plans, suggesting their ceremony may be coming sooner rather than later.

However, Billy’s inability to fully let go of Chancellor remains a concern.

Sally has already been forced to compete with Billy’s obsessions before.

If Billy chooses revenge or business over their future again, even a wedding date may not be enough to save them.

Meanwhile, Audra’s mysterious demand from Victoria could reshape several business alliances throughout Genoa City.

And Nate and Stephanie’s romance will continue developing, although Stephanie is expected to be away temporarily before eventually returning.

With Patty on the loose, Victor targeting the Abbotts, Kyle and Victoria unable to resist each other, Adam blindsiding Chelsea and Phyllis playing a dangerous game with Sharon’s safety, the next two weeks of The Young and the Restless promise secrets, betrayals and consequences that could explode across Genoa City.
